As the day is about to end, I’m finally taking pause & reflecting on today’s 20th anniversary of 9/11. This day had a great impact on my life & forever changed it. Some good & some bad, but it definitely changed it from what it was prior. My biggest heartache isn’t how it impacted me (which still haunts me), but rather those who lost loved ones on this terrible & horrible day. If I could take their pain away & make it my own, I would gladly make that sacrifice. I går var en helt igennem RÆDSOM dag! V fik en terning (ja, man skulle tro, at det var løgn) galt i halsen og var ved at blive kvalt. Han blev rød i hovedet, var ved at kaste op og kunne ikke få luft 😱 Jeg fik vendt hans hovede nedad, dunket ham i ryggen, ringet 112. Jeg blev undervejs guidet af en fantastisk sygeplejerske og jeg fik heldigvis banket terningen væk fra luftrøret, mens vi ventede på ambulancen. Den undgik dog ikke spiserøret, hvorfor vi nu skulle ind til røntgen, så os i ambulance mod sygehuset. Efter flere timer fortalte lægen, at han skulle have terningen ud via kikkertoperation og fuld bedøvelse. FULD BEDØVELSE! 😱 han kom derefter tilbage og sagde, at terningen heldigvis befandt sig i mavesækken og derfor ville komme ud af sig selv 🤢💩😂 en dag, hvor vi var igennem hele følelsesregisteret, men for pokker hvor føler jeg mig som den mest heldige i hele verden lige nu - min dejlige dreng kom hel hjem med mig igen 🥰❤️🥰❤️ de sagde i øvrigt, at børn oftest kom ind med flade batterier og magneter i maven, så pas godt på jeres guldklumper derude ❤️ . Yesterday was the most TERRIBLE day! V got a dice (yes, you’d think it wasn’t true) stuck in his throat and nearly choked. I held his head downward, hit him in the back and called 112. I was then guided by a fantastic nurse and luckily I got the dice out of his trachea while waiting for the ambulance. I couldn’t get it out of his esophagus though why they wanted x-rays so us in the ambulance towards the hospital. After several hours the doctor told us that they had to remove the dice by binocular operation and full anasthesia. I was having a terrible day on my birthday, and Hinson knew that. So when we met up for lunch, he waited in his car, played this song, and gave me my birthday gifts. I remember feeling so lucky to have him because he knew I was so excited to listen to that song when I turned 18. It brightened my mood tremendously.
