This one’s for the books.
We all know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I never imagined I’d be invited as a guest speaker.
It all started when Ms. Grayzie messaged me on TikTok. It actually took me a while to decide whether to say yes or not. It was my first time, and I wasn’t used to speaking in front of people. I knew I might cry, and I was aware that I tend to stutter when I talk.
But still, I think I was able to deliver and explain things well. Maybe I forgot to share a few parts, because I didn’t have a speech or script anyway. I just spoke from the heart and shared what truly happened back then.
As a breast cancer warrior and survivor, I stand as proof that early detection saves lives. Early detection doesn’t just find cancer… it gives us time to fight, options to heal, and hope to keep going.
Breast cancer is most treatable when found early. So please, take charge of your health… schedule your checkups, do your self-exams, and encourage others to do the same. Together, we can make a difference.
I’m truly grateful and honored to everyone who listened to my story. It was my first time speaking in front of many people, and though I was nervous, your warmth gave me the courage to share from the heart. I hope my story reminded you that there’s always hope, no matter how tough life gets.
A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Grayzie for giving me the opportunity to share my journey. This experience reminded me how far I’ve come and how meaningful it is to inspire others through my story.
God bless you all! 💪🏻💖🎀
