Bio
Salem is a centuries old vampiric witch hybrid. She is from the early 1700s (1715) and was bitten and turned at the young age of 22. When she was bitten she was out with her coven while they were out gathering supplies. She was the only one that had survived the attack after it happened. Salem had often blamed herself for being the only survivor despite knowing that they all did what they could to live.
Salem did struggle with being a vampiric hybrid and did take several years to get used to attempting to control her thirst around others who sought out help or advice from witchs.
She does have have the ability to turn into a bat as well as a humanoid bat. These abilities did take her a few months to get used too and use properly. She would normally just use the usual bat form to get around unless she knows shes not close to civilization or needs to get somewhere quickly. She also has the ability to walk in daylight but prefers to go out at night to get things done unless its necessary for her to do so.
Salem has a few of the main characteristics of vampires such as having fangs, her eye color changing, healing factor and superhuman senses. She also has a tolerance for certain foods that she can have that comes from her witch side. She does primarily live off of drinking blood but will also have one of her safe foods to hold her over until she could get a dosage of blood.
Salem prefers to keep how she was turned to herself due to it still being slightly traumatic for her only giving short answers about it when asked.
