Gianna gave a nod in understanding. Okay not the weirdest thing she’d heard or seen since being turned by far. Not to mention she could kind of feel him feeding off of her… so his whole story was a lot more plausible. She tossed him the complimentary gift bag, frowning slightly. “I can feel that you know.” She yawned slightly, his energy sapping already taking effect. “Cut it out. That has gotta be against vampiric code or some shit.” Gia crossed her arms, looking a bit worn out and pouty. Little did she know, her taking offense to his feeding was only making it all the easier for him to sink his teeth in all the deeper.

“Yeah, I can see that. So how is it that you feed? Cause it looks like you just bored these guys half to death.” Gianna wasn’t surprised to learn that there were other kinds of vampires, nah that checked out. She had met all kinds of beings since her turning. What did surprise her was that this one looked like a middle school math teacher, albeit with a lot of confidence. “Also if you got any drool stains on yourself, I do have a clean up bag. Your call.”

He had all the confidence afforded to a white American male. Which was, needless to say, way more than could ever be needed. 

“I trapped them in a conversation that allowed me to drain their energy. It’s quite simple, really, and I don’t have to get close enough for any dribble unless that will heighten their emotional state and give me more return. I will take that bag, however... Keeping such freebies is always keen. You never know when you’ll need something like that. Perhaps someone will ask me for one and I can put it to use then--”

When would this be over? “What bullshit is business casual?” Was it business or was it casual? it certainly couldn’t be both. “And what is wrong with my clothes?” He asked, feeling closed to offended by his statement to change them. One thing was going with him, sit there and pretend to eat, but now he was asking to change his attire and even change the style of his hair. This was what he always wore, and if this was more business than it was casual, well, he could always throw a cape over it and be good to go. “No. Not doing it.” He put his book on the small table that was by his side, and got up from his seat. “I don’t even know these people.”

“Normally when I toss guys out back for a vampire to feed on things get… kind of fucking messy. Lot of clean up on my end.” The three she’d thrown into the closed alley of the club were passed out at the other vampire’s feet. Looking to feed herself, she lifted one to the ground only for her eyes to widen in shock. No nutritional value whatsoever. Her senses told her that somehow this man had been drained entirely! She dropped the human, causing him to groan something or other about the ethics of recycling. Weird. “Well whatever floats your boat, but consider me more than a little fucking confused…”

Where was Nadja or Laszlo? why wasn’t he trying to drain them instead? perhaps he had done so already? He pinched the breach of his nose as his eyes closed, already feeling the effects that this conversation was having on him. It never took long, especially when there was no one else in the room and he was the only one for Colin to drain. “The salad, I would have the salad.” He replied, mostly because he didn’t remember what was the second dish that he had mentioned. “It seems less sickening to me.”
