Currently thinking about Lucas and Dustin meeting at Lucas's house and teaming up to figure out what's been going on with Mike and Will. They always knew that Mike acted a but more friendly towards Will. He always sat next to, or right across from, Will. Always talked to Will like he would break if Mike spoke too loud.
Lately, Lucas has noticed that Mike is hovering even CLOSER to Will. Instead of standing next to him, Mike leans into him until every inch of the sides of their bodies have practically combined. "I wouldn't be surprised if they showed up stitched together one day," Lucas says, prompting an eyeroll from Dustin.
Other than that, Mike has been saying a lot more private things to Will. By that he means Mike keeps whispering in Wills ear. Will always rolls his eyes or quietly laughs at whatever Mike is saying, nothing remarkable, but Lucas can't help but speculate that something is happening between those two. He doesn't know exactly what but he's gonna keep an eye on Mike and his little tricks...
After getting tired of watching his best friend go crazy about his other two best friends, Dustin lets Lucas in on the inconsistencies in Mike and Wills schedules...
"I mean when's the last time they didn't come together, or leave together? Or the last time we saw Mike or Will without each other?"
"And Mikes always the who insists they go together" *This Love by Pantera starts playing*
Dustin drops of the notes from their last D&D session every Friday because "Will can't remember anything for shit," but last time he went, Will wasn't home. He remembers Will saying that he was going home earlier and asks him about it the next day at Mikes house. "You're here pretty early. Did you sleep over or something?" Dustin tried to say sarcastically.
"Oh. No, of course no-," Will replied
"Yeah, he slept in Mikes room!" Holly interrupted
"He sleeps here pretty often. Why, was Joyce asking about him? I was sure she already knew." Karen chimed in from the kitchen.
"Oh..." Dustin stared at Will, who was trying to avoid his gaze, "No, I was just curious..."
Dustin and Lucas stare at each other in confusion as they try to come up with a possible explanation when Max, who is sitting on the couch behind Lucas with one ear out of her headphones, states what should've been obvious, "Maybe they're...oh idk dating?"
