I do not like her as a person, I like her as a literary tool and find her motives captivating. I would not be friends with her, and I don't condone what she did to Hector. Even though I find Hector to be annoying and cowardly, that doesn't give a pass to enslave and abuse him.

Lenore is a delicious look at how power corrupts, and she pushes the story forward. She is not a real person, and so I don't like her like I would a real person. I don't approve of her views, morals, or ethics, but you don't have to in order to appreciate her role as a villain.
