PROSHIPPER - NO MINORS

🪞 - Alan is Mercer's copy when it comes to face and mannerisms, but personality-wise, he takes after his mother most: extraverted and easy to be around, but stubborn as a mule. He likes people and people like him.

Just like mom, he has a strong hyperfixation that instantly gives him neuron activation when mentioned in conversation. If for Heather it was geology and gemstones, for Alan it is fishing, sailing and anything to do with the sea. He doesn't feel OK far from water.

He also got nordic build and height from mother. Tall and bulky, together with his personality he can be mistaken for a big airhead jock. (Ali finds it useful when people underestimate him)

Since he is stubborn and has a strong sense of justice, that posed some difficulties in the Guild ( a blind eye was turned on some of them though, being a nepo baby has its benefits). Let's say, "Thieves Guild for good guys" is the perfect mod for Alan roleplay.

🍻 - The boi loooves black rum. In Skyrim he really liked the White Gold Tower drink by Talen-Jey, but he tells everyone his fave is Cliff Racer just to seem cool. He is genuinely scared of the experimental shit Vekel brews (look up "moleshine"). Hates both Honningbrew and Black-Briar mead, lmao.

Alan is a former sailor, he drinks till he drops, Vilkas has no chances in a drinking competition. But Farkas can outdrink Ali without effort, whereas Aela will outdrink both of them.

🐺 - I don't think he has any specific hair routine. He just...washes it when he can, brushes and thats it. Hair oil? Huh? What's that? No fur care when in werewolf form except for tick-check by other Circle members

🗝⚔️ - The Guildmates were cautios with Alan at first, the majority of them expected Mercer's sullenness and explosive temper. Currently, Ali is always up to something with Rune and Thrynn, kinda afraid of Sapphire, though.

Alan is in good terms with Brynjolf, but he keeps a distance, their relationship is a little...complicated.

In this AU Bryn was taken into the guild by Gallus when he was like 10 y.o. (Gallus saw a poor little sod dying from smallpox and worked at a cure with Entir's help).

So, in Bryn saw in Gallus if not a father figure, then a hero-savior for sure. After the old Guildmaster's death, Brynjolf was mostly under Mercer's supervision. This technically puts the Bryn and Ali into a position of step brothers.

However, Brynjolf got little to no emotional support from Merc, since the geezer was too broken after his family's death. Only training and the basics, Bryn was more like an apprentice. (Mercer's throughts on Bryn are also very comlicated, gut its a talk for some other time)

What makes their relationship complicated is that, firstly, Mercer has different attitude towards his biological son and the guy he actually raised and trained.

Secondly, Bryn was very persistent with recruiting Ali. He knew it would be awkward to bring Mercer's son (in Bryn's opinion, a result of some out-of-wedlock intrigue), but he didnt expect this would start such a messy chain of events. He really needs to talk it out with Alan someday.
