My name is Maram, I am 25 years old from Gaza. I dreamed of a peaceful life, spending my life with my husband and my three children... but the war turned this dream into an impossible one 💔😭. We lived through this genocide with all its painful details and we are still suffering from it😭. We were so happy when the ceasefire was announced, and we returned to our homes in northern Gaza after being displaced for a year and a half in a tent in the south of the Gaza Strip. After repairing a small room in our destroyed house, we began to live there and start over. Unfortunately, the war came back, and it was even stronger than before 💔. Now, we have no shelter or source of income. We have used up all our savings during the war. I know I created my campaign very late, but that's because I have no other means to help my family 🙏. I am completely confident and hopeful that someone here will help us as much as they can and save my family in these tough circumstances 😔.

Every day we wake up to the same reality: destroyed homes, no safety, no stability, and needs that keep growing. People think the pain paused… but for us, it never did.

Even with a so-called “ceasefire,” nothing has really stopped. The explosions, the drones, the fear — the violations never ended. And our suffering definitely didn’t.

The storm didn't wait long. The low-pressure system hit Gaza, and the tents that had barely withstood the war were the first to succumb to the force of the wind and rain. Thousands of families who had fled the bombing in search of shelter found themselves facing a new disaster: cold, rain, mud, and tents tearing apart one after another.

In the displacement camps, the floors turned into pools of water, and the heavy blankets became wet rags that offered no protection to a child from the cold.

The displaced, who carried with them the pain of war, found themselves facing a new battle no less harsh: the battle against the cold and storms. Areas already exhausted by famine, disease, and lack of shelter are now facing harsh weather without infrastructure, without shelter, and without even the most basic means of protection.

Ahmed and his family are only trying to survive against the starvation that has taken all of Gaza by storm. Ahmed’s sister needs milk to feed her two small children, and Ahmed himself has even fainted from the hunger. Ahmed’s beloved cat has now died of hunger.

There is not enough food to go around. Those with food sell it at prices too steep for people in need to afford. Ahmed does not have much time. He and his family are already in critical condition from starvation and lack of shelter. He has already lost his cat, he cannot lose his family. He cannot lose his life.
