Circus au

Basic info: it's set in the 19th-20th century

Characters (demons):

Akaza as an acrobat

Gyokko and Gyutaro as freaks

Nakime as a musician

Kokushibo as a magician

Daki and Kaigaku as a magician's assistant

Douma as a juggler or a dancer

Hantengu + his clones as clowns

Muzan handles the money thing

Characters (slayers):

Obanai, Genya, Inosuke and Gyomei as freaks

Mitsuri as an acrobat

Kyojuro, Tanjiro and Nezuko as clowns

Michikatsu and Yoriichi are also freaks (but they're siamese twins)

Shinobu as a magician's assistant

Tengen as magician

Sanemi as a guy who trains animals (yk like lions and elephants)

Giyuu as a equilibrist

Muichiro and Kanao as food sellers

Zenitsu and Aoi as ticket sellers

Things about them:

Upms are not family friendly. They have lots of broken laws that they hide, like kidnapping into a circus and forcing them into changing the identity or murder

Almost this whole circus is miserable, to the point some of them wanted to end themselves but Muzan basically prevents such situations

"Once you've been to hell, you're never coming back"

Slayers have it the opposite way, most of them are just fine

Except for most traumatized members (Obanai, Sanemi, etc..)

On the other hand, this circus is a psychological prison
