Jason Grace naturally looks like a puppy crying because it was left on the road under the rain

the idea of piper and nico coming together after jason's death. the shared grief pulling them into each others sphere, they both lost someone they deeply loved. both angry and hurt at jason's sacrifice, nico initially blaming piper because of the prophecy before he realises it's the same as bianca and percy which only makes it hurt even more. both trying to piece together the aftermath of sudden loss, one lost before they had the chance to tell them of their love (nico) and one lost before they had the chance to properly reconcile after a broken love (piper)
