do u wear horse riding gear?
I do the "cheap" kind of riding, which means you wear whatever you want and maybe a helmet. The only required show attire is a collar on the shirt and something on your head. I always wear jeans and an old shirt is preferred to get doused in bug spray and horse snot. I have two (2) braces as due to riding my whole life I have the body of a 50-year-old, and always a helmet for me. I like my square-steel-toe cowboy boots, they continue to be waterproof no matter how many times I dunk them in mud puddles. And a phone holster is nice so I can keep my phone with me in the wilderness if I get ditched. Rain ponchos are amazing on trail rides, just so long as the horse doesn't freak out at the Big Scary Plastic Sheet unfolding and flapping around. Frankly, I'd hardly call any of it gear.
