I always knew Reylo was happening. That’s been obvious since TFA. But I just have to say....
When are these directors/writers going to learn? You don’t market the ending as a hopeful when it’s really not. The message sent is that doing the right thing will still come at a price. There’s no escapism in that. They’ve taken a long beloved family and had a new character just swoop in and take over the name. I love Rey, I really do but this is still disrespectful to these legacy characters. For once I’d really like to see a basic happy ending. Especially when you are ending a saga. I just can’t with these writers anymore.
I'm so sad that Ben Solo will never have a family of his own, with a wife and child (just like his grandfather never had)... I guess Ben didn't finish what Anakin started. All the Skywalker love stories are tragedies.

I've always thought Ben's story was a reversed Anakin's. Where he'd end up with a family Anakin never had. Watch his children grow up and train them in the force. That is a hopeful ending.
I think we need to stay positive as much as we can, even if we lost Ben (I never trusted JJ tbh, and after GoT, I've always thought something like this would happen), we got reylo, we can finally say reylo is canon after all these years, and for what I've read in the leaks, it kind of reminded me of Titanic
We can always have fix it fanfics, but no one can tell us anymore that reylo is BS or that they're related
