Back in The Rings of Power season 2, Galadriel was feeling a pang of guilt over her dalliance with Sauron, mostly because she failed to spot the threat, but perhaps also because she started to care for said threat. There's a potential for that guilt to heighten once Galadriel realizes her husband was alive all along. Will she be open about what transpired with "Halbrand?" Will Celeborn's presence quash any lingering emotions Galadriel has for the Dark Lord? Might Sauron take a special interest in bringing Celeborn down, not just because he's a prominent elven figure, but because he's Galadriel's husband?

Let’s just say I would be disappointed if it’s just a lovers reunion, it would not make sense in terms of storytelling. There has to be some twist. I hope for some deception, even jealousy from Sauron. I hope for some confusing feelings from Galadriel. Will Sauron cry again? Please. I don’t want it to be easy for Celeborn and Galadriel to go back to how they were before, I don’t think it‘s believable, they have been separated for so long…. Plus I am just shallow and I want Sauron and Galadriel in the same scenes pouting, screaming and begging!! Celeborn can watch!!

Give me a slice!

Looking at the teaser for season 3, I am part excited, part sad. Of course I know that Celeborn was coming back, that they are married and love each other… but the way the show introduced this strong connection and longing between Galardiel and Sauron, it makes me want to see more of that, more angst, nuances and heartbreak.

I am hoping that by showing us the obvious in the teaser, it’s a way to trick and play with the viewers and fans, but it could just be the real thing…

Thank god for fan fiction, I need many long HEA AUs, preferably with a redeemed or grayer Sauron, because that’s my cup of tea… I have read so many already and I am not yet satisfied.

I am also hoping for More Galadriel and Sauron interactions that are complexed and nuanced, and leave me breathless.

In the end we know what will happen, so at least I am not deluded, just asking for a few more crumbs, hell give me an entire slice!
