Fanart for the movie Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey which I always wanted to watch as a kid because I always saw its trailer on one of my VHSes. Last week I finally watched it and I immediately fell in love with it, especially Sassy. And man, did it make me cry in so many scenes-

This is sort of based on that scene where Sassy refuses to sleep on the ground but in the morning Chance finds her sleeping next to him. I like to imagine Sassy came down from the tree to sleep closer to Chance and Shadow also came closer to them so they all would feel safer sleeping in the wild.
