âThere is much indeed, on both our behalves I should think.â Her smile was bright and cheery, her eyes filled with a sparkling curiosity and happiness at being back together with one whom she was so fond.
âI will try to come more often in the future, I did not realize the time had gone by so quickly.â Her voice lowered in guilt, the light in her eyes dimming softly until CelebrĂan spoke again words which raised her spirits.
âA walk sounds marvelous! I shall follow your lead, grandmother.âÂ
The guilty tone in her voice caused the elder woman to shake her head, reaching a hand out to stroke her hair lightly. She could not, would not, let her granddaughter feel guilty, not for anything.
"Nonsense. You are growing, experiencing and seeing the world as it should be seen. I'm not going anywhere, dear Ithiliel. You mustn't come and see me only because you feel you must."
Yet, as she agreed to a walk, CelebrĂan allowed a grin, holding her arm out for the younger to hold. She could feel the sun's rays beating down on them, only adding the happy state of their reunion.
"Pray tell, how is your father? I haven't had an opportunity to speak with him in so long."
