Jaime hadn’t realized he had managed to get here. To be honest, he couldn’t really focus on much at the moment. Who would when they were injured and bleeding like he was? He hadn’t quite fallen off the horse yet but he was so close on doing it. It wasn’t easy to hold on to the reins of a horse at the best of times for him. Not with a golden hand anyway.

Feeling the horse slow down, he groaned. He didn’t say anything. He didn’t have the energy to do that. He could hear people talking to him. He wasn’t really taking much notice of what was being said but he knew it was probably someone who didn’t like him. It was him. Would it ever be good things said about him? He hadn’t realized it was his younger sister and her family.

He lifted his head up a little. If someone hadn’t seen him for a while, it wouldn’t be easy to recognize him. He had a beard. His hair was longer than it had been and his face was covered in blood and dust from the rubble. The only thing that would give him away was his gold hand and that was covered by a glove right now. He managed to focus on the person standing there. He was grateful as he was helped off the horse. “She’s gone. Cersei’s gone.” He managed to say.

As Alastor laid Jaime on the ground, a stable boy took the horse away, and Lorena heard what her brother had said. “What?” She whispered. “No. that...can’t be true.” She couldn’t believe the words that came from Jaime’s lips, not her older sister, not her manipulative, cunning sister. She was hoping that Jaime was delirious from his wound but something tells her what he is saying is true. 

she sighs softly and looks away. everything feels so distant and faraway and she wishes that there was an easier way to go about all of this. but what her brother wanted Daenerys knew he would get and it seemed as though time itself paced far quicker than usual what with her wedding date approaching. “ the great Kahl Drogo. he is to give my brother his army to cross the Narrow Sea. “ he answers it so simply,leaning on her folded arms to look more intently at her friend. “ but I have heard stories, Illyanna…and those stories frighten me. “

Jaime opened his eyes to darkness and realized he was still alive, but under rubble. He had no idea how he survived this. Realizing he had been holding on to Cersei, he tried to kick away some of the rubble. He had already been in pain before this so clearly he was in more now. Managing to get out if the rubble, he started moving some more, trying to find his sister. It didn’t help that he could only use the one hand. Finding her, he knew that he had lost her. It was just luck that he had survived this. It would have been too much to ask to have Cersei survive as well. He kissed her before getting to his feet and trying to make his way out.

The wound from his fight with Euron was still bleeding. He needed to get that sorted out before he lost too much blood. Reaching the streets, he glanced around. He never thought he would see the place like this. Jaime was clearly in a state of shock by not only what happened but losing Cersei as well. Leaning against a wall, he closed his eyes as the pain was so bad from the wound. He didn’t even know if he could make it out of here. Pushing himself away from the wall, he carried on walking. He may have lived here for so long but in the state it was in, he was kind of getting lost around here. He needed to find someone. Anyone.

He couldn’t find anyone around. The place was like a ghost town. He had to get away from here. Especially if he was going to get caught by Daenerys’ guards again. He tried to stop the bleeding. He didn’t have the energy to row on the boat Tyrion had mentioned before so he went by horse. He could just about manage that. He needed to get away from here. He decided on Winterfell. He got on the horse and just rode away. His injuries taking a toll on him and his wounds had started bleeding again. Jaime had no idea how far he had got and at this point, he wasn’t doing well at all and was so close to falling off his horse.

Walking over to her older brother, the closer she got, she realize that he is covered in dust, dirt and dried and fresh blood. “What has happened to you?” She whispered to herself, as she held onto the reins of the horse. She has not seen her brother for over a year now, and fearing that he had died fighting against the dead up North. 

“Mother,” she heard her eldest daughter, Tyra, speak from behind her. “Uncle Jaime...?” Lorena turned around to face Tyra. “Get your father, now.” Tyra ran off, and one of the guards came over. “Get Maester Creylan now.” Lorena ordered and the guard took off, before glancing back at Jaime. “Its okay, Jaime. You are going to be fine.” 

After the Unsullied had left Casterly Rock, Lady Lorena and her family had moved in, on request from Lorena’s older sister, Queen Cersei, knowing she, her family and her men can protect the Rock from now on.

In one of the many gardens of the Rock, Lorena  was sitting underneath a shaded patio with her two daughters beside her, who was nibbling on sweets, gossiping and giggling with each other, as Lorena was watching her husband and three sons training. Ser Alastor was teaching their youngest son, telling him to watch his older brothers trained before doing it himself.

She smiled softly as she heard Alastor praising and encouraging their sons, before something caught out the corner of her eye and Lorena turned her head to see who dares disturb them, and ready to scold them when she realize who it was.
