At her answer, the Prince’s mouth twitched and he took a breath, “ Even when you are older and stronger, war will still be war. Never say you want war unless you know exactly what it entails,” The usual gentleness in his voice was at once gone, and his words had a finality to them that meant he wanted no argument on this, “ The wisest of men and women know better than to resort to war to achieve what they want,”

The chair scraped against the stone as he stood, “ And so – you listened to what Lord Arryn said. What do you think? Our men released from their prison camps, our borders intact, a distant promise for justice – in exchange for my oath of fealty and Dorne’s silence,”

Aemiella knew what the Prince was saying, but who can blame her for wanting a war against Robert Baratheon and his allies for defeating and destroying her family. “I know, I apologise of my outburst...I am still raw on what has happened.” Everything went down when her brother died, the Lannister/Baratheon army siege King’s Landing, her mother dead and her two young siblings are in exile and not knowing where they are, is still very raw for her. 

Jaime watched as she did this. He closed his eyes for a moment before he opened his eyes once more as she mentioned about the milkk of the poppy. Jaime nodded. He knew that he didn’t want it getting infected. “Do whatever you need to do.” He said.

Jaime heard the dragon and looked up at it. When the dragon landed, he noticed that Tyrion was on her back. He lifted his head a little and looked over at his brother.

Aemiella looked back at Cersei, who looked annoyed, and Aemiella whispered, “Your brother asked me to rescue you and Jaime if things didn’t go as planned.” Cersei stared at her as Tyrion ran over as fast as his little legs could and saw his wounded brother. 

Jaime didn’t argue with them as they helped him over to the rocks. He couldn’t help but let out a sigh of relief as he was laid down. He was clearly still in pain but it didn’t hurt as much when he was not moving.

Jaime listened to his sister and then Aemiella as she said about why she was helping us. He watched as the dragon flew off and then looked back at the two women with him. Jaime heard Aemiella when she said about taking a look. “It is just a few wounds from a sword.” He said as if it was nothing. But he let her take a look.

Taking a look at the said wounds on Jaime’s chest, Aemiella hummed, before pulling out a small pouch and rummaging through the vials, before finding what she is looking for. “Milk of the poppy.” Aemiella told the twins. “I need to clean out the wounds before it becomes infected.” 

Jaime had noticed that they had both ignored him. To be honest, he was used to that. Especially when it came to Cersei. He could see the light and then heard Aemiella when she spoke. He was glad about that.

Getting outside, it was at that point that Jaime had noticed Euron. He was just glad he was still there and hadn’t disappeared. He looked back at Aemiella when she said about checking his wounds. He knew it needed to be checked. For all he knew he wasn’t out of the woods yet and it could still claim his life.

Aemiella was grateful that she didn’t hear any complaints from Cersei and had helped her carried Jaime over to the rocks and laid him down gently.  “Why did you save us?” Cersei asked. 

Jaime had noticed that Aemiella was looking at his clothing and the blood from the wounds. He looked at her. “I don’t need the help getting down. I can…” He stopped when he realized that she had already put his arm around her neck and helped him down the hill.

Getting to the bottom, he watched as his sister rushed over to help. “I can walk.” He told them both. Maybe not as easily as usual but he could still walk. A little bit of help wasn’t going to hurt though. Jaime headed towards the light at the end of the tunnels with the two of them. It was quite a struggle for him.

Both women ignore him, as they walked down the tunnel, with Taphira shielding them from the rubble. Aemiella saw the light and Aemiella said, “We are nearly there.” 

Jaime was glad that Cersei that hadn’t argued with him about this. He helped her get up to where Aemiella was. Jaime heard his sister tell her that he was injured and that she needed to help him. “I’m fine.” Jaime said, even though he knew that he wasn’t.

Looking at Aemiella, he reached up and grabbed her hand. Taking a look back, he noticed the place really collapsing in now. With her help, he managed to pull himself up. Jaime groaned in pain. The wounds weren’t helping at all with getting up here. 

Aemiella took hold of Jaime’s hand and pulled him over the rubble hill. She heard the kingslayer let out a groan of pain.  Aemiella saw his clothes had blood stains from the stab wound. Euron Greyjoy. She thought to herself, before saying, “My apologies, Jaime, but we don’t have much time.” She wrapped his arm around her neck and half carried him down to the other side of the hill.
