Introducing Lady Isadora Fontaine for @windermeresimblr's Bachelor Beaumaris Challenge

Happy new year everyone! To celebrate, I thought I'd share a little something.

I absolutely love the silk dress from TS4's Moonlight Chic kit, and luckily it has been converted for TS3 by @xiasimla here. Then @deedee-sims made a long and short version for TS2, and while I've been using them for all my sims 2 ladies, I wanted needed them for my TS3 ladies as well.

I've used both Deedee's and Xiasimla's meshes and textures as a base for this, so many thanks to them both!

For females, Young Adult/Adult only as of now (I plan on converting them for teens and elders in the future)

The long dress has 3 recolourable channels, short dress has 2

They can be found in formal, sleepwear and career. They are not enabled for random

They have all morphs and are maternity enabled

The dresses have custom thumbnails

Polycount is 5,6k for short, 6k for long

Elizabeth “Beth” Harmon is the protagonist of the book The Queen’s Gambit by Walter Tevis, and the Netflix limited series of the same name. After watching the series (and becoming a bit obsessed with it) I decided to recreate Beth as she appears on screen, portrayed by Anya Taylor-Joy.

What was supposed to be a fairly quick project quickly got out of hand. It has taken me almost three years since I started making her, and has involved me learning how to make cc clothing from scratch and creating almost an entire new wardrobe for her, but she's finally done and ready to be shared.

Just a small thing I needed for Beth before I (finally) upload her. It’s the base game polo shirt, made available as athletic. I know this already exists somewhere, because I used to have it in my game, but since I can’t find it anywhere, I decided to just recategorize it myself.

This is NOT a default replacement. It’s only for YA/A females.

Another piece of Queen's Gambit clothing. This time it is outerwear, based on the coat and hat that Beth wears in the final scene of the show. I love this outfit and the symbolism behind it, having Beth mimic the White Queen, the most powerful chess piece. It's a timeless set of outerwear that is sure to fit both modern and retro sims.

I tried my best with the bone assignements, and I think they're pretty good, but there will be some clipping in more extreme poses.

I present to you, a young Tom Cruise.

I started creating Tom back in 2018, but like many of my projects he has since been sitting in my folders, nearly done, for way to long. It’s now over four years later, and I think he’s ready to be released to the public.

Tom Cruise is an American actor and producer who had his breakthrough in the 80s with leading roles in the movies Risky Business and Top Gun. He has since starred in multiple blockbusters, been awarded three Golden Globes, three Academy Award nominations and an honorary Palme d’Or, as well as becoming one of the highest-grossing box office stars of all time.

With summer here, I thought I’d share this swimsuit 🌞 (aka this project has been sitting in my folder almost done for half a year and i finally got the motivation to finish it). It’s another piece of clothing made with my Beth Harmon sim in mind, but is sure to look good on anyone.

Luckily for me, the retro swimsuit from TS4 Seasons was a close match. A conversion and simple mesh edit were all I needed for it to be fit for Beth. Gone were the buttons and in its place a belt clasp, and voila, I give you Bathing Beth.

✨Sims Wise: Officially the coat and hat from The Queen’s Gambit. It’s the last piece of clothing I want to get done before I can finally upload my Beth Harmon sim. Unofficially: I’m always jumping between projects and have quite a few going on right now, mostly CAS-based. They include an Italian band, an anime figure skater, and a Swedish pole vaulter, just to name a few. We’ll see if they ever make it out of my sim bin

🤫Real Life: Currently working hard on my endocrinology course, trying to learn everything there is to know about the thyroid gland, the adrenal glands, the pituitary gland (there are a lot of glands...) diabetes, breast cancer, osteoporosis etc. It’s interesting, but takes up a lot of time

This is the second part in my Beth Harmon/Queen’s Gambit project: a simple T-shirt which Beth can be seen wearing several times during the show. Like many of the outfits from the show the shirt is inspired by chess, with the simple black and white division mirroring the clear divisions on a chessboard.

I’m in the process of creating a Beth Harmon sim from The Queen’s Gambit and needed some good 60s outfits for her. Since I couldn’t find anything close enough to the outfits in the show, I decided to create some myself. This is a simple mod dress, inspired by the dress Beth wears in Paris in episode 6. I’ve also included two other variations of the mod dress, to give all the vintage sims a bit of variety.
