(His smile doesn't reach his eyes.)

“Other dances? You mean like….Folk town dances? I don’t know many nobles who actually know those kinds of dances.” Ashe muses, finally fully looking at Claude and tilting his head. “Back in my old town we used to have little festivals and people would just laugh and grab someone, even a stranger, to dance with. Good times, now that I think about it.” The memory brings a true smile to the archer’s face.

“Over in Gerudo Town, no voe are allowed inside… I had to present as a Vai to them to be allowed inside…” he talked, “But you do like any other male at first glance. The piercings do add a certain edginess to your character.”

“That would definitely be appreciated.” Byleth gave another nod, signaling Claude that he had the go ahead to leave, closing her bedroom door behind her as she did so. Maybe one of the Golden Deer girls needed a spare or two but couldn’t leave? That was the prevailing theory in her mind, right now, at least.

Claude would be a bit before he returned, looking fairly relaxed now. He knocked before entering, giving a grin.

“Hey, it can totally stab you, if I’m hearing right.  Something about uteri and trying to rip themselves out of you with a dull spoon.”

“It’s a beautiful dream, isn’t it? But no great thing like that has ever been accomplished without bloodshed or sacrifice.” Henry comments, sealing up his pouch after having deemed it full enough.

“Nothing is ever easy in life, but I’m glad that I might be able to take part in it. Even if it’s all for naught.” Henry finally stands up from where he had been kneeling and turns to face Claude’s direction. “As the Alliance’s next leader, are you prepared to do anything to help realize your dream?”

“I don’t have a choice.” Claude didn’t hesitate for a second, his voice serious; Firm. He already knew that there would be sacrifice- That it wouldn’t come easy. Nothing ever did, especially in his life.

“Just normal poison? Nothing paralysis or sleep inducing? Sounds like a toadstool or perhaps a parashroom job,” she states, pausing to think, “I can’t remember if there is a shroom that induces sleep… I do know of an alternative, though it’s pretty powerful, and can put the strongest insomniac to sleep for a day or so.”

She tilts her head at digging pits, “Oh, like pitfall traps? It does sound like some of the Aether Resort traps, like Move Speed Down or the Shock Traps. They can be annoying at times though… Hmmm…“

“Mushrooms? ...I usually brew my own things- It’s pretty easy to find the supplies if you mix the right things together. Which, thankfully, is things that can’t be eaten regularly- No wasting resources, then.” He seemed to think about her words for a moment, though- Keeping the different types in mind.

“Would you expect any less of this place?”
