I just finished the first half of chapter 7 and now I feel compelled to write a side story before doing the second half of chapter 7.

So chapter 7 may be a little delayed, though the side story will be published at the same time because spoilers.

Forgetting the word you made up and used once 14 chapters ago

It took me forever to dig it out by trying to remember what the sentence had in it. Stupid Alternian vocabulary that isn't canon and can't just be looked up in the wiki.

My storytelling could not be more influenced by a single writer, could it... I only hope I can be a tenth as good! I love The Wheel of Time, Robert Jordan's books have been my favorites since I was a little bibliophile. Picking out the biggest books and longest series I could find in the library just to ensure I would have plenty to read.

I know people say it's wordy, I know people say there are too many characters, I know people say it's too long. I don't care! The guy had to put in a damn glossary in every book, each longer than the last, so you could look up what something was when you ran into a word/name you had forgotten the meaning of. So it's no surprise my fanfics are running at 335k and 613k words for the two completed acts so far. And, uh... you know... 13 acts planned? So, yeah.... I'm not influenced by Robert Jordan and The Wheel of Time, noooooo.

I spent the first half of therapy complaining about the world... and the second half info dumping about character motivations in my story to try and explain how I think.....

I'm pretty sure I could talk about this story for 30 hrs, and the only thing that would happen is me losing my voice.

Time to start planning the details of Act 3 :D I have a very rough plan. (10 small notes) But i need to turn it into something I can actually use, plus weave all ten notes together so they each get hit in the right order.

OMG I FINISHED WRITING ISEKAISTUCK ACT 2

Act 2 Chapter 30 I can't believe I finally got here. 946,997 words in Acts 1 and 2 22,045 words in the side stories (both spicy and tame) It's been an amazingly fun journey, both for my self-exploration (I cracked my eggshell and came out as trans) and for my general mental health. Plus, I'm writing the fanfic I want to read but doesn't exist, and I hope you all are enjoying it as well. I want to talk about these babies so much, so if you want to talk about it / ask questions / provide prompts, shoot me a question over at IncessantPulse for out-of-character stuff and Ask-The-Isekaistucks for in-character stuff.

I'm going to be writing a few side stories while I plan the details of Act 3, so keep an eye out for those!

Should have foreseen someone picking Eridan and Sollux, I have an eridan one that is planned already for later, probably act 4. I'll have to think of some more options for him before then. Two possible good idea for Act 3 just came to me. Sollux, I haven't planned any side stories for yet, but there are some good opportunities much later. I'll have to look for some opportunities in the near future.

Jade has a few planned for late act 3, but before then im not so sure. Dave i only have one planned for maybe like act 5 lol, ill 100% need to find more. I might try to write a handful between acts 2 and 3, so we'll see what inspiration strikes me. I have one planned for sure covering 2 people I don't see voted on, but we'll see if I can manage it. After the end of Act 2 there will be some down time before Act 3 picks up, os if you have ideas on things you'd like to know about send me requests. "what does X get up to?" "How do X and Y interact?" "Is anyone doing X?" It'll let me know what you're all interested in.
