Tum Fluff!

Mystic Flour:

-the fact that her main trait is apathy really lends itself to some interesting scenarios. after all, while i adore characters who get embarrassed about their tummies growling, there’s something fun about a character who simply does not care about it.

-so, with apathy and nothingness being her whole thing, it stands to reason that she reacts to hunger with that same apathy

-it’s not even really that she ignores the sound of her stomach growling, she just can’t bring herself to care about or acknowledge it

-even if someone were to point out the sounds coming from her stomach, she wouldn’t feel embarrassed at all. after all, just like everything else, hunger too is a temporary thing

-or, depending on how you look at it, maybe she puts off eating because fullness is another fleeting aspect of life

-i’m sure i’ve said this before, but i like to imagine that all the beast cookies have really loud tummies. it just makes sense when you’re brainrotted like me

Burning Spice:

-with his main trait being destruction, i wouldn’t be surprised if he had the loudest stomach out of all the beast cookies

-he’s said so himself that you can’t have destruction without noise, so i imagine that he really doesn’t care about his stomach growling, even if it’s unbelievably loud

-the sounds of his stomach could easily be mistaken for an earthquake or an oncoming storm

-in fact i could totally picture a scenario where nearby cookies cower in fear upon hearing it, though i guess if he’s nearby, they should automatically be afraid anyway

N:

-all disassembly drones have a built-in alarm that alerts them when they need to fill up their oil reserves. this alarm happens to sound exactly like a growling stomach

-with n being such a sweetheart, and with v mentioning that they’ll only take as much oil as they need, i imagine he’d put off refilling for as long as he possibly can, which leads to him having a very noisy tummy

-i think n definitely gets embarrassed about his stomach growling, and tries to cover up the noises however he can, as he doesn’t want any worker drones to be feeling uneasy around him

-i also feel like v and j like to tease him when he’s unable to hide the loud noises coming from his stomach, though j definitely takes the teasing farther than v does

-i really like it when the fandom portrays the disassembly drones as being a bit more “animalistic” than the worker drones, and a smaller way that i personally headcannon this applying to them, is that they all appreciate belly rubs

-n in particular probably loves having his tummy rubbed the most, he’s up for it whenever

-on the angstier side of things, i could totally see n, v, and j having been deprived of “food” as punishment back at at the elliot manor, low key i’m tempted to do something with this concept one day

-overall i’m a huge sucker for the trope of the “monstrous” character that would rather starve than potentially harm someone, and i think n is a really good candidate for this trope

V:

-unlike n, i don’t think v gets embarrassed about her stomach growling, she’s just really annoyed by it

-i can see her being a bit of a complainer; if she’s hungry, she’s gonna make it everyone’s problem

-i think it’d be funny if there have been times where v’s hunts were ruined by whatever worker drone she was preying on had heard her stomach rumbling and ran away before she could get to them

-like i said, i think all disassembly drones enjoy belly rubs, but i think v would only accept them from certain people, mostly lizzy

-one of the few scenarios where v does get embarrassed is if she happens to tease n for his loud stomach, only for her own tummy to then cut in with a just as loud noise

-being the black cat to n’s golden retriever, i like to imagine that v acts like she’s starving even if she’s just been hungry for a few minutes

-sometimes if she’s hungry she’ll straight up refuse to do anything until someone allows her to drink some of their oil

J:

-despite making fun of him for his stomach growling, i think, much like n, j gets incredibly embarrassed when her tummy makes noise

-thinks it’s absolutely shameful for a disassembly drone to simply allow their alarm to go off in front of anyone, what kind of self-respecting jcjenson product is fine with letting the world know that they weren’t able to refill their oil reserves quickly?

-v likes to tease j whenever her stomach makes noise, especially if j had previously been pestering v or n with something like what i wrote above

-j would rather die than admit to wanting someone to rub her tummy, the only one she’s ever allowed to do so was tessa back at the manor

-her stomach always makes noise at the worst possible times, especially when she’s trying to boss around v or n

-n doesn’t intentionally tease j like v does, but j still assumes that any passing comment that he makes about her stomach is to make fun of her, and she never takes it well

-j will never admit to her own stomach growling, even if it very obviously is, she’ll attempt to blame it on v or n

Uzi:

-uzi’s an interesting character for this type of thing, since after she got her solver abilities, not every part of her was mechanical. with her wings and tail being organic, i don’t think it’d be a stretch to say that her stomach could be as well

-we kind of get an idea of this in cabin fever, but i think it definitely freaked her out when she started experiencing normal hunger

-i like to think that she didn’t want to believe what was happening, and she tried to just ignore the hunger at first, leading to a lot of awkward moments at school where her classmates would hear her stomach growl, and she would have to come up with some flimsy excuse for it

-much like v, i think uzi enjoys belly rubs, but only really accepts them from certain people, mainly n

-i don’t think she complains as much as v does when she’s hungry, but i think she’s definitely a lot more irritable than she normally is when she hasn’t eaten

-since uzi’s the smallest in the series, i like to think that her stomach is way louder than you think it’d be, plus that does also fit with her personality

-even once she’s adjusted to the hunger, i think uzi gets extremely flustered when other people hear her stomach growl, and she’ll usually try to either cover it up, or just deflect with a “bite me!”
