I have no idea if there are any big-name or particularly respectable fans here, but all I know is that I probably constitute the bottom rung of the hierarchy just for having a Madeline icon. Not that it matters much, I’m the trash man and I take pride in that at this point

It seems like the Metroid fans on here are just a bunch of chill people who happen to all like Metroid. This sort of group could and probably does exist for most fandoms out there but ours is special cause its ours and it’s Metroid.

There are so many people on this thread alone I’m so happy I befriended through the Tumblr Metroid fandom. Seriously. I’ve never been part of a more thoughtful and positive fandom where people respect each other’s ideas and feel comfortable sharing their interpretations with each other.
