☆ Hello, I'm Forest! ☆
☆ I'm a 23 year old butch lesbian who writes bad poems and posts them on tumblr!
☆ I post bad poems on purpose because I believe it is ok to enjoy something and not be good at it

☆ I hated English class so bad when I was in school
none of it made sense to me!
and it still doesn’t!
☆ During my freshman year I had an English teacher who sparked the love of poetry in me
and it became one of my favorite forms of self expression
even though I didn’t really understand the technicalities
☆ And that’s ok:)
it’s ok to write bad poems
it’s ok to not know what you’re doing
it’s ok to not be perfect
and enjoy it

☆ Sometimes I write poems about other things, but mostly I write poems about being a lesbian
☆ I write these poems because sometimes being a butch lesbian is very lonely
often I feel like there is nobody I can talk to about being butch or my love life
not because they don’t care
but because they just don’t understand
☆ Tumblr started as a space where I could scream into the void
but I guess some of you like it?
and connecting here makes being butch feel a little less lonely
so thanks for that :)
