In His Embrace

My blockmate said that this is where I can write my message to my friend in Dream Works University. I am sorry for my bad english though I am studying writing and linguistics, my native language is Norwegian :)
To Jack, the Fine Arts Boy of Dream Works,
This is my last day in Burgess as an exchange student. Tomorrow, I will have to go back to Arendelle. I’m sorry I didn’t tell. Perhaps I couldn’t face the possibility—the reality—that I will never be able to see you again. Your ocean-blue eyes, your beautiful smile, and your hair that reminds me of the first fall of snow.
When I first arrived here, the unbearable heat of Burgess made me want to go back home. Maybe it was too much for a girl who grew fond of winter. Maybe this is not where I belong. But then I saw you, drawing sketches under the golden hues of crimson—capturing sunsets that could never offer the beauty you possess. I felt like my life started when I found you in that sunken garden—the only friend I’ve ever had and the only love I’ve ever known.
Like how rain is always meant to fall, like how snow is always meant to drift from the sky—loving you felt inevitable.
The sun burned my porcelain skin, but I was sheltered by your embrace in every moment we shared. The sunken garden, the lovely sunsets, and the quiet moments under the stars are witnesses of my happiness.
But none of those could rival how breathtaking you are. It was your presence that held me captive.
I wanted to thank you for everything—for every shared smile, every shared dream, and every shared whispered secret. You were the gentle breeze on my sunburnt skin. My beautiful escape, under which I found my solace.
As I prepare to return to Arendelle, where the embrace of winter will surround me once more, I carry with me the memories of our shared laughter and the sight of you draped in hues of blue under the moonlight.
Though our paths will no longer cross along the roads of DWU, know that you have imprinted upon me a warmth that no winter can extinguish.
So as I bid farewell to this place and journey back to my homeland, I do so with a heart brimming with gratitude and affection. The heat of Burgess may have been overwhelming, but it is nothing compared to the warmth of your presence—a warmth I will carry with me, always.
Until we meet again, remember that you are my most treasured memory, the gentle ember I will hold against the cold of all that lies ahead.
Jeg elsker deg. I dette livet, og i en levetid av andre, skulle jeg ønske at jeg kunne få med meg flere solnedganger og nå stjernene sammen med deg, Jack.
"I love you. In this life, and in a lifetime of others, I wish I could watch more sunfalls and reach for the stars with you, Jack."
