I look like a spastic piece of kelp!

Someone within the crowd caught his attention, doing what he always did deducing quirks and curious things from people from time to time he happened to see her. She was daydreaming though, maybe too caught up in whatever were her thoughts that she did not see him calling out to her. Cedric was in the mood of sharing the stage, a thing that he did from time to time, not many did go up the small stage at the Rabbit Hole with him whatever were the reasons.

Annica had studied both English and Music in school, so if one were to study her too long, they might realize her fondness for such things. Both being passions from a young age. She even worked at the music store here in town. Though, she also worked the news paper along with her father's restaurant when she was needed. Modelling too, was a side job. Of course, all of this played all too well into Annica's general opinion of herself. Jack of all Trades... Master of None... though her sisters may tell you otherwise.

Everyone's a Critic || Annica and Nicholas

Oh she was doing a review for the coffee shop. She'd never done a review before. Other articles, mostly freelance things she submitted... they'd been published... but this one she was asked to do and she knew if she did it right she might get asked to do them again. Sure they asked her to write things but it was never guaranteed a good spot. It was usually little things hat no one read. But plenty of people would look at the reviews to decide where to go. Plus, reviews often times got a spot on the website for The Daily Mirror.... that much she was looking forward to.

The Family Business || Annica and Adrian

Annica hadn't wanted to do it. She hadn't wanted to go and see her aunt. The woman was horrible. Not that the second oldest really knew much about her, she just knew that no one in their family really spoke to her. But, now she had to. So she made her way to the beauty salon, not really looking forward to it but knowing it was better just to get it done. Then she could finish the rest of her day and be done with it.

How Do You Do? (And Shake Hands) || Annica and Thatcher

Annica was at the supermarket for her daily shopping trip. Things didn't get used as much when she was shopping for herself. So she shopped mostly every day. It wasn't unusual to skip a day every now and again, but things were fresher when she ate them if she bought them every day. It was a simple fact of living alone. One or two days worth of anything that could spoil and that was it.

Elisa laughed, feeling more comfortable in this girls presence. “I doubt that but… I’ll take your word for it.” She smiled. “I need to make a list I suppose. First Frozen then Ariel’s Beginning. Any more must sees?” She asked. She liked this girl. She was sweet. 

"I think that's a good start! I mean Road to El Dorado, Furngully... the Black Cauldron, if you haven't seen those they're some definite must sees. But Frozen and Ariel's Beginning are a good start, I'd say!" She laughed, pleased she'd found someone else who seemed interested in Disney or well, cartoon movies in general.

Oh thank the Gods. Alina slowly let out a deep breath. A voice chided her, reminding her that Annica was an adult and was, actually, much better at telling what’s a good risk to take. She could learn from her— if she ever decided to stop being so stubborn. A hand clutched her chest as Alina’s eyes widened, “Annica…” she said with panic and breathlessly. Her eyes widened as a smirk tugged on her sister’s expression. “Annica!” she declared with dread. “You won- shouldn’t… you shouldn’t do such a thing.” She gave her a little pout. “If you get married on a whim, you have to stay near by, so I can watch after my nieces and nephews when you’re about to snap from going stir crazy.” She tried to smile, and even gave an attempt to laugh. Though it was rather weak.

What Annica didn't know was that even speaking to Hanson was a risk to take. He was such a charmer, he seemed to be able to woo his way into any woman's good graces. But- she thought he was sweet, and he was most certainly handsome. She grinned, looking up at Alina as her 'panic' at the idea of Annica running off to marry a man she just met. She should hope that Alina knew her well enough by now to understand it was a joke. "I'll be sure to do that... maybe I'll try to one up our family even... we've go seven.... maybe thirteen or so...? What do you think?"

"Probably," she laughed, "she doesn’t understand why she can’t simply have all of your clothes." Alina said with an amused smile. The eldest could handle a few pieces of her wardrobe disappearing. It was always less frequent than the items disappearing from Annica’s. "I don’t understand why she doesn’t just shop like you. Is part of the fun making you aggravated?" Her brow arched curiously.

Annica let out a heavy sigh. "I've bought her the same shirt, and the same jacket that I own and within a month they were missing... bet you can't guess where I found them...?" She loved her sisters, but she also hated Ariana sometimes. Was it really that difficult to just... wear your own clothes? She'd never thought so and she'd hoped her own place would help. And it did, barely.

Andrea looked at Annica, attempting to read her expression before gently moving the icepack to give her a better view. She cringed slightly at her words. Of course Annica could see right through her she always had been able to. “He made a mistake.” She said simply as if that explained everything. “He won’t be making it again.” Andrea laughed at the question. “Do you think I’d ever show my face again if he didn’t? He’d had it coming for a long time. I just took the step that everyone else was afraid to take.” She took a breath, once more gauging her reaction. She seemed okay. “Think it’d match me?” She asked.

Annica wasn't the oldest, Alina had the best bullshit detector of them all, but Annica was rarely fooled either. She had her duties as a big sister to the rest of them. Even if she wasn't the oldest. She did however, lack the authority and general demeanor needed to tell her sister that she shouldn't be fighting. Because at Andrea's comment she laughed. "Good!" Oh she was a horrible influence, wasn't she?? "I think I can make it work, you're not much different from me..." She held her arm up to match against her sister's skin, there were a few shades but nothing she couldn't work with. Especially with a bit of blending colors she had.

Alina gave a small nod, eyes filled with delight. She could swear her taste buds were dancing. Did every person get this way from chocolate? She rolled her eyes, half tempted to stick her tongue out at Annica. “I’m not as sweet as you are,” she batted her eyes dramatically, “you have a higher tolerance than bitter people.” She laughed softly. 

Annica laughed. "Aww, I don't think I'm that sweet. I'm sure Arianna would disagree." Not that it wasn't very well deserved when she went rather sour in regarding her sister... no Arianna took things that Annica asked her not to without permission. She rarely gave them back and would even try to pass them off as hers... yeah, she wasn't exactly sweet when it came to her possessions. 

Hanson. Hanson… That name sounded familiar, but it didn’t ring any bell. It was a small town, and Alina was just going to rank it up to that. Probably having heard it one day passing someone on the street. When Annica turned away, Alina frowned, picking up the fork and scrubbing too harshly at a dull spot on the back of it. She held it up towards the light almost a minute later, then decided it was good enough. She walked by and placed the fork on the bar counter before walking around and picking up a tall glass. “Is Hanson sincere?” she asked much more politely and honestly curious. Alina didn’t want to be the bad guy, or just the bearer of bad news. Nor did she want to ruin the one good relationship with a sister that she had.

Annica looked up and smiled, working on the ketchup bottles as she pondered her answer slightly. "I think so? I mean it's not like it's anything serious anyway. He just asked me to the ball. That's all. We've only met a few times, anyway. I'm not going to run off and marry him or anything." She grinned. She liked him, sure. But they'd only met a handful of times, and the first time she'd met him he'd been dating someone anyway. She actually was rather surprised he asked her in the first place. Though he'd seemed to get over it really quickly he had mentioned that things had gone quick... she looked back to the ketchup bottle, pulling herself away from thoughts. "Though... maybe..." She looked up at Alina and smirked. Just saying that to bother her sister.

The Perks of Having Sisters I Andrea and Annica

Annica had come to visit but it appeared that not a soul was home. Well that is until she heard a noise in the kitchen. So she headed in that direction, Wondering which of her sisters it was, Alina had her own place now so it likely wasn't her. Unless she had the same idea to visit like Annica had. But any of the others were equally likely to be in the kitchen digging about in the fridge or freezer for a snack or something of the sort. 

Elisa laughed. “I don’t think the sisters got much development in the movie though so I guess that might also make it hard to choose. I guess, I remember some basic personality types but no real character time. Do you get what I mean? I’d love to see the sisters more and get to know them each.” Elisa suggested. She wanted to see her reaction to the comment to see if the sister theory was possible or not. So far it was looking possible.  ”Well… I also haven’t seen the sequels so maybe they do get more developed in those.” 

"Oh they do! Well, actual it's the prequel that they show up. It shows a lot more about them. They're never given much detail but you learn more about them then the first one." She smiled. "They're actually really well developed for minor characters. Attina is the oldest, kind of bossy, but she means well. Then there's Aquata, second oldest... My sister tells me I dance just like her... Like a spastic piece of kelp." Annica couldn't help but laugh, she knew it was true. Her dancing skills were certainly lacking. "Then oh- you really should just watch Ariel's Beginning It's a really lovely movie."

Ariel continued to glare at her sister for a minute before taking a sip of her drink. “She must really like the jacket… Maybe you should consider the face that all our names start with A, putting an A on anything is just like giving anyone another reason to steal it.” Ariel never drew on her clothes or things. She liked them as they were and without anything to make them a bit extra special. “I rarely borrow anything and even if I did you’d never notice. I’m good at hiding things. You’d have no idea that it wasn’t exactly where is was, the secret lies with me and whatever of yours I borrowed.” She watched her sister seriously for a moment before bursting into giggles, “Nah, I just never borrow anything.” 

"It's no more reason to steal mine than wear her own! I got her, hers so she would leave mine alone!" Annica let out a huff off annoyance. "We don't even live in the same house anymore. That girl has a problem." She hated when her things were taken. She had enough of a time already feeling like she meant anything when she had so many beautiful talented sisters. But when they started taking her things it really got to her. It wasn't as if there was a loss for items. She had plenty of things. It was just the fact that they were hers whether the item in question cost fifty cents or on hundred dollars didn't make a difference. Annica eyed Ariel and laughed. "You just need to ask, you know." That was true, borrowing and taking were two very different things.

"I really shouldn’t be eating too much of it," Rita commented while looking over the table and picking up a little wafer, "so, if I don’t use a plate there’s no evidence of what I’ve eaten left behind and I’ll never have to notice." She grinned while carefully letting the end touch the chocolate, then tossing it into her mouth. "This is a really nice idea. Did you come up with it yourself?" 

She laughed. "Well, I suppose not. But you could also think of it as... chocolate is dairy, and has chemicals that make you happy. So it's got to have some benefits. Right? Plus.... there's fruit." She grinned, that was her excuse all day. At least I'm eating fruit! Since most of what she ate were the strawberries or the bananas. "I did, well, me and my chocolate addiction that is."
