in the spring of 2023, the world was ravaged by the deadly LHV viral disease, decimating most of the population. sixteen years later, the remaining survivors are forced to fend for themselves in a world where food and resources are scarce, violence and brutality are second nature, and their lives are in the never ending threat of being attacked by the LHV infected (the sick), a tyrannical military, and hostile survivor groups.

my goal with this save is to create a post apocalyptic universe filled with lore, detailed environments, and interesting characters. this is a very early version so thereās only 1 world (moonwood mill) but i plan on expanding it to others.

requirements:
i own/used all packs and most kits, the save is still playable without them all but lots will be missing objects and sims will be missing cas items
this save uses cc + mods, but i tried to not go overboard. mostly cas things for the infected and wooden boards, dirt decals, ivy etc build/buy objects
notes:
stage 2 infected (daywalkers) roam around a lot but most of the stage 1s will only occasionally show up at night, since theyāre all set as sun resistant vampires they donāt appear as much as iād like them to so i might humanize them later
because this is ts4, sims are gonna end up doing immersion breaking things. iāve tried to incorporate mods that help with that, but some things are out of my control rip
console players: iāll upload no cc versions of lots to the gallery soon, they just wonāt look as rundown. as far as sims go, the survivors have very little cc so i can upload them too but the infected rely heavily on it so they wonāt be up there

A very simple recolor of the dog harness that came with the Cats and Dogs EP. I made both a Simlish and an English version. You can have both in your game, they won't conflict.

So this pack I started a couple months ago but I put it on hold to deal with literally this exact scenario in my real life. Watching my family members one by one say their goodbyes was the most heart wrenching and agonizing few days of my life. That said Iāve always been fascinated with raw emotion and different ways to capture it. And with this whole experience I just went through you just cant get much more raw than that. So afterward, sitting down and finishing this pack was a piece of cake. As usual my family makes excellent reference points.Ā
