Urban Hype Sims -- Semi Hiatus

GUESS WHO’S BACK, BACK AGAIN!!!

Hi you guyyys!:D I said I’d do this again didn’t I?! WOOT! I’m going to try to make this as short as possible but I got a bit more explaining to do this time around!

I’ve been developing a personal project called Outlaws, and I was getting ready to do some character exploration when I thought of doing it here, if you guys want me to, with your simmies!!:D So the sketches or paintings (not sure yet which I’ll do) of your sims will be made to fit the aesthetics of the project. 

Long story short, Outlaws is a project based on a post apocalyptic (typical, I know) setting, in which humanity has been forced to stay underground, creating new societies within as each strives to survive. There’s tons more stuff to it, but I’m still developing it so I’m gonna leave it there. The three sketches above have been explorations of two of the main characters, and the one in the middle was just me doodling to try and figure out some aesthetics. Anyways, I’m rambling. 

SO! If you guys want me to draw your sims, here’s what I need!!:

Reblog this post with the name of the sim you want me to draw and anything else you want me to know! (if you can message me a link of a picture of them so I find them faster, all the better! And if your sim has a tag of its own, double score!!!)

I tend to use more my instagram than my tumblr lately tbh :_: If you guys want to see the sketches/paintings of your sims, that’s where!

Also, I want to mention something reeeallllyyyyyyy important: Since Outlaws is a personal project, this time around I’ll be picking the sims myself which I think could fit best the aesthetics I’m looking for. Therefore, I don’t have any set numbers of how many I’ll do, depends on how many of you guys enter! :) If I don’t pick your sim please please please! don’t be sad or think I didn’t like them. I’m super stoked and honored every single time someone asks me to draw their sims, but for the sake of this project I have to stay within a certain aesthetics I’m looking for. If I don’t draw your sim this time around, please don’t be sad and feel free to submit again next time!!

Hey guys! (I feel like I start so many posts this way. okay anyways) So I just wanted to make a little disclaimer that this blog will probably not have sim posts again. Let me clarify. My sims games (all of them) are uninstalled and I don’t see myself installing them again any time soon, so from this point on, this blog will probably be a place for me to now and then make posts about things relating to sims.

So mostly, I was thinking of making this blog mostly about art and sims. Such as me sketching your sims and things like that. I’m planning to host more Draw Your Sims! events, so maybe this blog could become a place for my art and love for sims would meet. My God I’m terrible at explaining myself today aren’t I? ‘:P

I really really really wish I could take more sims, specially now that so many of you reached out!! :( but I work full time and I’m moving soon so things are going to be a bit hectic. If this goes well though, I’m totally down for maybe making it a weekly thing or something like that!!!:DDD

ALSO, just as a side note, I’m sort of kind of better at drawing guys just out of habit,but if anyone really really really wants me to draw their girls I will try! :D

Last but not least, seriously thank you thank you thank you to anyone who enters this and to everyone that reached out due to the last post! I’m kind of in denial that so many people wan me to draw their sims o.o no really :D

I seriously doubt anyone here remembers me anymore but anyways, I wanted to stop by BECAUSE I MISS THE SIMBLR COMMUNITY. 

UPDATE!

So many of you reached out that this is totally happening!!:D If you would want me to draw your sim, here’s the post explaining how it’s gonna work!!:)

To be honest my interest for playing sims is at below 0 right now thanks to the poor decisions (in my opinion) that EA has made regarding the games.

BUT ANYWAS! I’M NOT HERE TO TALK ABOUT THAT, I’M HERE TO TALK ABOUT ART AND YOUR SIMS!

So long story short my life has become all about art as I aspire to be a character designer, and today I had the idea that I COULD DRAW YOUR SIMSSSS! That is, if anyone wants me to of course lmao. Just wondering if anyone would be interested in it? I could use some practice with characters and I think it would be such a fun way to come back to the simblr community! Above are some examples of my sketches.

The tumor turned out to be in fact cancerous BUT good news is it looks like the cancer has not spread anywhere else in his body (: He had surgery yesterday and got it removed, so he is now just in the process of recovering from surgery. So all in all given the situation, turned out to be the best outcome possible!!:) God is good (:
