Carrie squinted. Oh no. Oh no. He was fading, fading fast. She gripped Mugman’s shoulders firmly and gave him a bit too rough of a shake. What else could she do in this situation? The nearest hospital was a ways away, if she wanted to get him there, she’d have to walk.

Without hesitation, she scooped the mug up. Bridal style. She made sure to keep his head up so the liquids within wouldn’t spill. She felt...another fluid clinging to her dress however. She dared not look down directly at her chest, but she caught a glance of it when she looked down at Mugman. Gross.
