Some LJ angst coming right up~ Love some vulnerable clown man

One of the worst out of the creeps when it comes to expressing how he really feels inside. This ends up causing issues sometimes because obviously, he's not always being honest and open, and he hates that he causes issues because he doesn't WANT to, but at the same time, after what happened in his past he's scared to allow himself to be open and vulnerable again. It's hard on him, but he's trying to allow himself to slowly lower the walls he's built up around himself. 

Doesn't actually like harming children. He's grown rather numb to the actions of doing it, but he'd prefer if he didn't have to harm kids. Sometimes when he looks at them he gets taken back to what he was like before he transitioned into a demon, back to when he was pure and innocent and all was good in the world. Those moments get him extremely vulnerable, and it's very stressful and traumatic for him. These days he usually has Slender sending him out on missions to kill adults because he can't handle being around children.

I will go on and on about this man’s trauma and how it affected him for HOURS. Severe abandonment issues, the clinging, the infantilization that he pushes onto himself. The putting other people on pedestals that are so unrealistically high up that if they do anything that even slightly doesn’t reach his expectations of them—he’s crushed. He’s his own enemy.

His childish behavior that he should have grown out of hundreds of years ago is a coping mechanism that works within him subconsciously. Rarely does he act like the adult he is, rather opting to throw childish tantrums whenever he feels like it. Killing the children with people they can trust and depend on—wanting what they have. Locking them in small spaces like the closet in their hallway, the crawlspace in the attic, etc. Listening to them scream and cry for the people they rely to take care of them. Their mom, dad, older sibling, etc.

“You’re gonna get attached to it and it’s gonna kill everyone.”

Thoughts while watching Bad’s stream. I’m so hyped for this plot line.

And I figured out what it is. I was re watching the clip of Un Poco Loco, but I had this dread feeling. It was small but there.

At first I thought it was bc I played the song so many times I was starting to hate it. Nope.

Then I noticed it only started when Hector came on the stage and I almost flipped out bc how dare my body hate this precious baby that I need to protect.

Then it hit me.

It’s bc Hector is doing all the tricks and such. He is mixing up parts of his body as he dances as tricks.

And while it was amazing and I adore the scene. The reason he can do this is sad.

Throughout the entire film there is only one other character that can take apart their limbs like Hector. That is Chicarron. He is the friend of Hector that sadly gets forgotten. But one thing to note, he is missing his femur bc he lent it to Hector.

He is the only other character besides Hector that we see have limbs fall off or have the ability to come off.

No one else in the movie does this.

NOT even Imelda who, if this was based on how long you’ve been in the time of the dead’ would be doing the same too.

But no. The reason this stuff can happen is because Hector has been forgotten for so many people for so long. It’s why he has the limp, his leg keeps shifting so it’s hard it walk.

It’s sad that Hector has gotten to the point that he KNOWS how to do tricks with this condition.

It breaks my heart. Someone save this bean and protect him.
