Nothing like coming out at the Christmas party for work! One of the ladies put a condom in with her gift for the male boss. Help, I live with a Karen!

My mom is a total Karen. She thinks mandatory mask-wearing is a ploy by the government to control us little “sheep”. I told her tonight that the sooner people follow the rules by wearing a mask, the sooner we can stop wearing them, and she actually baa-d at me! Every day I have to hear her complain about wearing a mask at work, as well as public places. She has also gotten into essential oils and has paid likely hundreds of dollars for them so far. Tonight, I hopefully put her in her place by saying that, unless you’re a medical professional, people shouldn’t talk about things they don’t understand. I can’t believe I have survived the pandemic this long with her!
