Smut Fiend 👅💦

Meet me in the middle is horribly named because that is such a bland fucking title, and I think it is one if my best works to date. I think I really got the hang of this writing stuff. It 's about Greg. I was always bad at writing titles.

Yes is something I am quite proud of. Here I started experimenting with metaphors. I think it has expanded my writing skills a great deal. And I endeared some of you to old people love so that's a win for diversity? Idk. It is a Ghost one, written when the lore of the band really started kicking off.

Azure made me addicted to writing, when over the weekend after I posted, my phone absolutely blew up. Thank you, Ghost fandom. Thank you, Ghost! Still proud of that one, sometimes I go back to it to remind myself I can also write succinctly, yaknow. After these first ones I started blabbering a lot.

On the shoulders of giants was me trying not to have it be all about porn. It was my first crack at a rounded story with a beginnin and an end, and I think I wrote some pretty nice lines in there. Another Ghost one!

What we do in the Blue Room Ahw WWDITS fans I love you guys. And I loved WWDITS, I should watch it again. And maybe I should finally write my OFMD fic, to complete the (WWDITS, GO, OFMD threesome). I'm just happy that fanfic exists, and we can get Nandor and Guillermo together, actually.

Least liked fics; I think all of the Steam ones are dumb and unnecessary besides the first one. I dislike the one-offs I did for nanowrimo, even after reworking then for ao3. My heart wasnt in it and I just wrote porn for writing porn, in the same way you grab some fastfood when you don't really care about how the meal tastes. But they still get some appreciation every now and then, so I am not pulling them from AO3. I'm not pulling anything, I might like them again.

I think the The Pitt ones were pretty good actually, the hate was really funny', but it got too much attention from ppl who have no idea what fanfic is about. Don't get mad when you click 'yes, continue' lmao.

Some last thoughts: Per Aspera was fine for what is was, and what is was was me (and my fellow Ghost babes) going through the grief of the band falling apart. If you came into Ghost after 2017, you should count yourself lucky! I will always love my Spectrum series and still have some Chicago prompts and scribbles in a word doc somewhere. I loved my little community. @arch-angel @autumnalmistress @h3rblkw1ngs @ladyrevealedofcloak, people who have deleted their accounts or changed their names and I don't remember who posted those comments. But at the time, writing and reading fanfic was something we did together, and we'd cheer other on. (I reread Per Aspera this week and got sappy over this memory.)

I LOVE writing. I fucking LOVE IT. And I love it when others like it. I crave your kudos and comments.

I once told my buddy @fellowwriter that I thought that maybe I was writing men no different than women and she let me know she knew this way before I did.

When I read my old fics I notice a lot of mistakes in the grammar and spelling and I can see how much more proficient I am in English now and that is mainly because of all the writing and also my readers didn't seem to care <3 but you may still point out any of the mistakes I make to me, I appreciate when u do!

Writing for a very smol fandom is both frustrating and rewarding.

Writing for a larger fandom is daunting. Writing for one that starts out small and then grows very fast feels like you're being left behind in the dust. (Ghost now has over 15000 fics and 777 pages on AO3, my first ones can be found on page 776.)

Making friends on here is weird because sometimes you realise you haven't talked to someone for years and there is no way of knowing how they are doing.

I like older men (and no one was surprised).

I used to think a chapter should be about 1000 words, now I think a chapter should be 3000 words. Only very meaningful in-between or lasts chapters may be short.

I cringe every time I get a notification on my Kingsman fic (the first fic I ever published online) and that's a bit sad, isn't it? I was just a baby (a 21 year old) and you gotta start somewhere. Also, this is one of my fics with the most hits (maybe because it is so old.) Hey, huh? That fic is 11 years old? Wow, I was convinced it was 10 yrs. (I'm not linking this one.)

I used to write multiple fics a month, then some a year, then 2 years of nothing and I am currently back to some a year.

I still don't know what inspiration is, but it is the greatest gift.
