Dont get me wrong. I have nothing against people using AI to study, ask random questions, or whatever else. But the beauty of fanfiction is that it's written by a real person. You're reading someone's emotions, their imagination, their love for those characters. You can feel the time, effort, and passion they poured into every chapter, often without getting anything in return except maybe a few comments.
That's what makes fanfiction special to me. It's not just the story, it's the human behind it.
anon, in case you donโt know, apart from all the other drawbacks of AI, it generates fanfiction by stealing the work of real fanfic writers and regurgitating it as soulless slop. my fics have been data scraped by AI and Iโm sure lokoโs have too. even if it wasnโt your intent, itโs insulting to go into a writerโs inbox and tell them you just generated AI slop which probably stole from them. Iโm sorry we canโt write as fast as you want us to but thatโs the reality of art, it comes when it comes. if thereโs not enough fic out there for you, why not write some yourself? even if you think โoh but Iโm rubbish itโd be crapโ I guarantee you itโll be 1000x better than whatever slop your AI shat out, because itโll have passion and heart and a real understanding of the characters
