Sou was grateful that his companion for the night couldnât have been any lonelier. From a realistic view it was actually a little sad but in the young manâs mind this was a blossoming, addicting, romance. Arrangements like these werenât uncommon between the two of them and Sou often let the choice of what they did in Shinâs ballpark only to do as he pleased in the moment without much fuss.
A movie was where Shin currently had him occupied withâwell, barely.
The theatre wasnât exactly populated but there were enough spectators to keep this movie from looking like a complete wash. In truth, he hadnât really been paying too much attention to the plot as his own thoughts swam with a vigorous urge to set his true intentions in motion. Teal eyes fall on the sheepish individual beside him and thereâs a natural grin that canât help but appear every time Shin comes to mind. Dubiously, he leaned in the otherâs direction, voice never creeping above a whisper.
âThis would be more entertaining if we had a little fun.â
A hand fell on Shinâs thigh to emphasis his desires. âDonât you think so?â
The otherâs eyes on Shin always felt so heavy. He could feel that unwavering gaze even as he kept his own eyes on the screen--not pointedly, exactly, but... Well, it never seemed to get any easier, locking eyes with Sou. He thought maybe that sort of thing would change if he learned to loosen up, relax into the inevitable direction of...whatever was progressing between them. It was still a struggle so far.
A lean and a whisper soon accompanied the look, perhaps because Shin hadnât turned his attention to him at first. The intentions of those words with the weight of a hand on his lap sent butterflies flitting intensely through his insides, and...yeah. He was such a long way from easy-going. And then there was Sou, who never had any worry or hesitation whatsoever, always seemingly at ease with whatever situation and environment he was in. Or whatever situation or environment he caused. Which...at least Shin never had a lack of excitement in his life, right?
...But they were in a theater. Public. Admittedly, it wasnât an unheard-of, novel idea, kissing and touching to some extent in the back row. This kind of thing just...happened between two people at the movies--in the middle of a rom-com especially, didnât it? It would kind of be his fault if Sou came out this experience bored and disappointed, wouldnât it? Since he was the one that picked the movie the other didnât seem interested enough to pay attention to, as well as the one being so uptight about things. Still, despite that, despite how hard he could feel his heart beating, blood rushing in his ears at the thought of this proposition...it just felt off somehow. Shinâs inhibitions reared their ugly head again.
âCouldnât... Couldnât we get kicked out for something like that...?â he whispered uncertainly.
