❝    i’m  fine.    ❞    a  lie  uttered  through  a  shaky  breath,  lungs  desperately  trying  to  fill  with  oxygen.  chest  heaving  with  the  effort  of  holding  back  sobs.    ❝    it’s  so  stupid,  i  don’t  even  know  why  i’m  crying.    ❞    nimble  hands  reach  up  to  wipe  away  the  stray  tears  that  dare  to  fall,  carving  a  path  down  flushed  cheeks.  gina’s  embarrassed  to  be  caught  in  such  a  state    –    by  ricky  of  all  people.  the  only  person  she  couldn’t  talk  to  about  it,  and  yet  he’s  the  only  person  she  wants  to  talk  about  it.  after  all,  they  have  that  unspoken  understanding.  they  just  get  each  other.    ❝    we  made  a  pact,  remember?  no  musical  talk.    ❞
