Spain is the guest country at the Festival International de la Bande Dessinée d'Angoulême this year, and the Ministry asked for pages of Spanish mangas to illustrate an exhibition. I wasn't invited, but I'm very happy and proud to see my name and Flower from another garden in the streets of Angoulême.

A Christmas postcard! Merry Christmas you all!
I'm so thankful to everyone who went to Manga Barcelona and waited so patiently to get a signed copy of my comic! It was a wonderful experience, Arechimanga (my publisher) treated me like a princess and I'm very grateful to them for inviting me! The team is amazing, specially the marketing manager, who became my "mami" :'D
Visitors there were truly kind and positive, and they gave me great motivation. It was nice to know people I've seen around my socials, and some others who knew my previous work (I casually heard someone talk to their friend "don't you know? she is the same from Lady Lioness!" what made me screech internaly so hard) as well as a lot of new readers which passed to me their enthusiasm and kindness, so so so thankful to them! Hope they like my work.
It's been so short, I had so many great moments, I had a beautiful experience, being in the most important manganime convention in Spain as an author after I visited it for the first time when I was 18 and I could only dream of being in the other side. It's mindblowing! I'm so grateful, honestly. And so many great artists there! I had the chance to meet them and everyone are such goodhearted and talented people! ARGH! I'm simply speechless. Hope I can be there again next year!

Ayer estuve en Ramen Para Dos, en directo dentro de su sección Tinta de Udon, donde estuve hablando y dibujando en directo. Ya había hecho el boceto previamente, pero hice un timelapse de cómo lo hice para mostrarlo luego. El resultado final difiere un poco, ¡pronto lo mostraré por aquí!

English: Yesterday I inked a drawing livestream for the Spanish website Ramen Para Dos, in their space Tinta de Udon where they invite Spanish authors and we talk and draw something related to our work. I made the sketch previously, but I made a timelapse of how I did it to show it later. The final result differs a little, I will show it here soon! Yayyyyyyyy I have finally my copies of Flower from another garden! My comic has been published in Spain under its castillian title, La flor de otro jardín. The edition looks AMAZING, the cover has a wonderful touch and colors, so soft and with a great quality. So sad the fact that the letters of the title have a silvery glow can't be noticed in the picture 😭 But they GLOW and have a beautiful reflection when you move the volume.
I was very worried about the tones, but I'm happy to see they look very good and the pages doesn't look ugly or in a bad quality. The paper is wonderful.
And the back and the paperback cover are also very pretty! Yeah, that's me in the side, in my pink princessy dress haha. I'm so so happy with this, I can't believe I'm oficially a published author! It will be soon available in my country everywhere.
Finally here! I couldn't be happier!
Well, it's official, I will be at Manga Barcelona this year signing the spanish paperback edition of Flower from another garden! There will be also some merch related as a gift with purchases. It's so cool! The first time I went to that convention I was 18 years old, and now, 20 years later, I go as an author! Thank you to everybody who supported Flower all this time.

My publisher kindly has sent me these pictures of the Flower volume being printed! I'm glad to see the tones are fine and there is no problems with the monochromatic. Hope I can have one in my hands soon!
Honestly I don't think is enough content to make a spin-off, even if there are some scenes I would like to draw for fun someday. I prefer to put them in new stories rather than telling their past. As I said, even if just anecdotical, Marcos and Carolina make an appearance in The Silver Comb. Carolina even has a crucial role towards the end of the story. Even Aaron is remembered at some time.
I hope I can work in this soon. Right now I prefer to continue Lady Lioness as I want to end the chapter 2, which I've been dragging for too many years.
