azk-noodle-gorillaz:
“I’m not letting go.” Her tone was flat, almost emotionless, uncharacteristically for her. “I’m going to find out how you work, no matter what it takes. You’re not getting in the way of that. I can and will disable you, I have never liked you, and i never will, but my feelings can change, if you just fucking let me do this. I won’t bother you again. Simple request. You won’t even feel anything. Or maybe you will. Hell if i know. but I’m going to find out.” She had no clue what makes her want to tear it apart so bad, but she knew she just had to. She was a good liar though, she learned from the best of course. “ I will never bother you again if you let me pick you apart. I’ll even put you back together, seamlessly. Let me do this, or I smash your head in, and pick you apart that way.”
Intense distress blossomed in her, and she let out that same pained beeping. She ran through the options that she had been given, though they weren’t really much in terms of options. It was an obvious choice. “Okay. I will let you dissect me.” As the words exited her mouth, she felt some new emotion... fear? Fear seemed to be what she was feeling. Noodle could easily damage her CPU or completely destroy her body and not put it back together. That’s what Cyborg was expecting to happen. An existential dread of ceasing to exist was looming directly overhead. She added a simple plea to her previous statement. “Please remember to put me back together. I do not want to die.”

⋰⋰∘•°.:┆→☾♡☽ It honestly did not phase her if she wasn’t a human. She wasn’t one to turn someone away for such a stupid reason and there was clearly comfort in talking to someone who wouldn’t experience emotions the same way. It made for a good friend. A smarter friend too, probabaly.
“Well, that’s ok, yes? There’s a benefit to not being human whether you know it or not. Can I still call you Noodle, though? It’s cute-” She really had no idea what circumstances the cyborg was created under, and it’s not like she’d understand. The Plastic Beach fiasco occurred when she was a teenager and she wasn’t keen on music at the time.
“I believe that would be okay. I do not think you have any possibility of mixing me up with Human Noodle, after all.”
The fact that she had remained calm after being told that she was a robot was refreshing. Cyborg didn’t exactly have friends outside of the band, but she definitely wouldn’t mind being friends with this human. She twisted her mouth into a smile to show her gratitude.
azk-noodle-gorillaz:
Noodle couldn’t stand it. She had to know, to find out. She grabbed Cyborg’s wrist, almost in a crushing grip. She probably could crush the metal if she wanted, but she didn’t.. No, it had to be in tact so it didn’t harm any of the wires. She wouldn’t let go, though. Not until her curiosity was satisfied. She didn’t even know where to begin. She wanted to take a knife and cut away the skin and expose the metal to the air surrounding them. She really, really wanted to. But she needed to find something to help her keep the AI being still and not escaping from her grip while still conscious. Perhaps another room, locked, and soundproof would work. “Cyborg. I would greatly appreciate it if you came with me.” Nothing was going to stop the woman from ruining it to figure out how it worked. Absolutely nothing.
The sudden hand on her wrist would’ve initiated self defense mode, but Murdoc had recently changed her programming to protect all of the Gorillaz, not just him. Harming Noodle would go against that. Either way her artificial mind perceived it as a threat, and she yanked her arm back, surprised at how strong the grip was. Despite her pulling back several times, she couldn’t shake her.
She kept her eyes diverted, but uttered a simple statement. “I do not want to. Please let me go.”
zvidistic:
⋰⋰∘•°.:┆→☾♡☽ “Pleasure to make your acquaintance.” She very carefully listened to the information, as well as noted a bit of… well, part of how she spoke sounded like a text-to-speech software oddly enough.
“You do sound like a robot, you know, which I can only assume you are.” No, she doesn’t know that from her behavior, but simply because there are ghosts around every corner who are capable of whispering little secrets in her ear.
Her smile fell into a more disgruntled expression. Humans usually assumed she was just a strange human, most of them thought the technology for both robotics and AI had not advanced enough to make a bot as high functioning as she was. After another moment’s thought, she decided that Jena was no threat and it didn’t matter if she knew Cyborg was a robot.
“I am sorry for the deception. I will correct my information. Cyborg Noodle. Seven. Robot.”
zvidistic:
⋰⋰∘•°.:┆→☾♡☽ Well, straightforward was much better than the normal small talk that the female despised, so this was coming as a blessing, really. When she figures out that she’s speaking to a robot, it might make more sense, but no doubt about it, this was her type of person to talk to. Even though she didn’t know the process of analyzation being done here, she went ahead and formatted her information as if it was being put into a database or mental archive.
“Hello. Female, probably age twenty-two or so, haunted, and very likely the reason why doors open and shut without apparent reason. And yourself?”
It didn’t take Cyborg long to input the information thanks to the way the woman had formatted her wording. That was helpful. A slight smile appeared on her face.
“Thank you.” She paused for a moment to bring up the information on herself that Jena had asked for, or at least the information she had on file for her human counterpart. “I am Noodle. Female. Sixteen.”
azk-noodle-gorillaz:
As soon as it left the room, for whatever reason she had, she laughed. She laughed until tears rolled down her face. As she slowly caught her breath, she wondered if, much like a computer, she could ruin it with a magnet or some other kind of interference would damage the Central processing unit in its head. Like a child left with their first electronic, she wanted to tear it apart, ruin it, reassemble it and then tear it apart again. Was she sick in the head for this? Hardly. It’s not like Cyborg would feel it. But at the same time, she wanted to keep it running while she dissected it, taking away limb by limb, peeling off the synthetic skin and messing with the wiring.
She heard the manic laughter after she left the room, and the sadness she was feeling magnified. Perhaps she should ask Murdoc to uninstall the part of her AI that developed emotions... but she didn’t know if that was possible without removing the entirety of the AI. There was a part of her that wanted desperately to become more human, but the more independent and realistic her programming got, the more confusing things were. She came to the decision that standing there and trying to understand the uncomfortable feeling building in her wouldn’t help at all. She knew that happy was a good emotion that she liked to feel, so she wracked her brain for something that made her happy. Movies did. There were no movies in the room she was currently in, so she would have to move. Keeping her eyes planted on the floor, she exited the room and tried to ignore Noodle as she passed her.

⋰⋰∘•°.:┆→☾♡☽ The sound of the voice behind her caused the esper to think another ghost was trying to talk to her again, but the unfamiliarity of its tone said otherwise. As her attention was placed on the much smaller young lady- bot, she gave a smile as this was the first time she was approached rather than her having to tap the shoulders of strangers.
”Jena-”
She was now a bit interested in the other as she seemed to also enjoy the gothic(?) fashion sense as well. (thank you for the starter <3)
She nodded, seemingly satisfied with the information. “Jena. Hello. Could you tell me more about yourself?” She was vaguely aware that asking something like that outright was not a very human thing to do, but straightforward processes made more sense to her.
azk-noodle-gorillaz:
Noodle’s disgust and distaste for her copy was overwhelming her, being face to face with it again. She understood why Murdoc made it, and she was honestly humored by that. But she was back, alive, and doing well. So what the fuck was this pile of scrap doing, still running? Clearly it wasn’t running well at the sight of her. Oddly enough, That gave Noodle a sort of… sick satisfaction. It didn’t need to be working anymore. She wanted to say something clever and smug to it, something like “and just who decided to keep you working?” But it didn’t seem mean enough. Hell, the site of this damn thing made her want to dismantle it, destroy everything about it, and throw its remains into the endless waters of the Atlantic.
The internal chugging made way to pain- or at least the closest thing to pain she could feel. She wasn’t equipped with the ability to scream or cry, so the only expression of pain came forth in a strange beeping noise. The disgusted expression of the human Noodle made her feel some kind of sadness, but right now her malfunctioning system was priority. With some effort she managed to shuffle her way into a different room before getting jammed completely.

Cyborg had met Noodle before, but their interactions had always been short for a reason. As soon as she saw her, she felt an intense confusion come over her. She was aware that she was a robot... but she was Noodle, so seeing the “real” Noodle threw everything she knew off and usually jammed her system. Murdoc had tried to explain to her the reason that she still held memories as Noodle was due to the inclusion of her DNA, but that didn’t seem to lessen the issue. In the end she decided to take some time away from the band, but the loyalty to the band ingrained in her programming manifested one hell of a homesickness.
She had returned, but seeing Noodle again made her question whether she should’ve. She grabbed her head as the computer inside began to chug loudly.
like for a starter!

Cyborg scanned the stranger, finding no previous information on her. Obtaining information when there was none was always a safe move, however, so she stepped forward to ask her some questions.
“Hello. Who are you?”

The sound of footsteps caused Cyborg’s head to snap quickly to the direction they were coming from, but noticing who it was allowed her to lower her guard.
“Hello 2D. What are you doing?”
thesweetestaccidents:
Euphemia could only giggle, watching the sentient machine study her. It was such a great model, and an every greater reminder of a wondrous period in Gorillaz’s history and point in discography.
Cyborg Noodle would only be met with a kind demoness.
“This is just fuckin’ awesome– I’m Euphemia. Big fan~! You’re, like, the cutest cyborg ever~“
Expecting only a straightforward answer, the compliments threw her off, causing her to take longer to generate an answer. Compliments weren’t something she got often, so coming up with the proper response was a bit difficult.
Her face twisted into an uncomfortable smile. “I think I am supposed to say thank you, so, thank you.” Her eyes scanned Euphemia up and down once more. “You seem sufficiently attractive to human tastes as well.”
