Blind Date: from @tigereye771 Jackson West sets up his tough TO with his best friend and roomie not because he's trying to win a bet, but because he knows Tim's a good guy who would treat Lucy right, and Jackson is sick of Lucy always getting hurt by boyfriends. Little does he know he's connected two long-lost soulmates who don't quite realize yet they are soulmates. Meanwhile one of those ex-boyfriends Jackson hates is stalking Lucy.

Accident: Lucy is being chased by an unknown assailant when the distraction causes her to hit Tim while he is driving in his shop. When he gets out of the vehicle to check on Lucy, he notices the other car speeding away from the scene. He calls in a description of the car while he stays with Lucy to wait for an ambulance and asks her what she might know about the other car.

Lawyer: Tim is a high powered attorney who works for the rich clients who can afford him. Earlier in his career he wanted to be a lawyer who worked for the people who needed help the most, but lure of money turned him into the man he is today. Though he is rich, he is unhappy and is known as a hardass among his colleagues. A random argument with a beautiful police officer over the arrest of one of his clients changes all that. Lucy sees the man Tim used to be and the man he could one day be again. The man who wanted to help the little guy and change the world. Perhaps they can change the world together.

Back to College: After taking an extended break and much prodding from her parents, Lucy decides to finish her psychology degree. Tim is taking a couple of psychology courses to help further his chances of a promotion in the department. He is not sure if he believes all of what psychology has to offer, but after 12 years on the force he does know he is good at reading a suspect and that has to count for something. After being paired for a project in class, neither Tim nor Lucy are sure they will make good partners. He thinks the only person he can truly trust is himself, and that Lucy is way too naive and trusting. She believes Tim is too emotionally closed off and stubborn in his beliefs to make the partnership work. However, the more time they spend together, the more they understand each other. Seeing past their initial assumptions to who the other truly is. Will they want to continue this partnership outside of the classroom?

Gym Meet Cute: from @tigereye771 Tim goes for a workout one day only to find a petite woman beating the heck out of his favorite punching bag. Tim is typically not a creature of habit as his training as a police officer always tells him to mix it up, but he does prefer that punching bag as it's a little away from everyone else. He shrugs it off and makes due with a nearby bag occasionally catching glimpses of the young woman. He begins to realize there's an almost frantic quality in her punches as if she's imagining someone specific. A gym dude comes up to her attempting to flirt but when she doesn't respond he gets more aggressive until she snaps at him to back off. The guy starts cursing at her, and before Tim can intervene she lays the guy out. Tim does intervene, at this point he's trying to save the guy. He introduces himself, and she tells him her name is Lucy. He's intrigued immediately.

Apocalypse: Tim has been on his own since his wife died, and he prefers it that way. No reason to get attached to anyone in this hellish world. Until one day he comes across a young woman being harassed by two men. He intervenes with one guy; and when he looks to start on the next, he realizes the woman has already taken down her opponent. She is tougher than she seems. Still Tim wants to remain on his own when Lucy asks to travel together. She has been on her own since her parents died recently and has been hoping to travel with someone she can trust. It doesn't take much for her to wear Tim down and convince him they should stay together at least for a little while. She thinks Tim might need a friend more than he wants to believe. But could they perhaps become more than friends? Is it possible to find joy and love again in a world as bleak as this one?

Arrest: from @tigereye771 Tim is part of a drug ring bust not realizing the beautiful criminal he's cuffed is really a DEA agent deep undercover. Lucy's arrest is to set her up and give her credibility for an even more dangerous mission.

Lost Dog: from @tigereye771 Tim's dog sitter carelessly leaves a gate door open and Kojo runs away. Kojo saves Lucy from a mugger, and she brings the pup home much to roommate Jackson's consternation. Jackson points out Kojo has tags, and Lucy knows she has to return him to his owner.
