Today was supposed to be a celebration for our family — a celebration that brings us together and creates warm, happy memories. But unfortunately, for years to come I will remember this day as one filled with anxiety, tears, and mourning.

I remember the day when my parents, my brother, and I went to choose a kitten. There were so many of them, but she was our choice. So small, with blue eyes. She already had a name — Bonitta. And for us, just Bonya. We even joked that her name sounded like the animatronic Bonnie.

I have met many cats in my life. And only now do I truly realize how special she was — when she is no longer by my side.

It happened suddenly. Just yesterday I was scolding her for climbing on the radiators. Just yesterday she was lying next to me and purring. Just yesterday I was chasing her around the room because I wanted to squeeze her…

She was always the same: quiet, gentle, wanting to be petted and fed, running away because she knew she was being naughty…

Today around noon my brother came to me and said she was breathing strangely. I came over and confirmed it. Most veterinary clinics were closed today. When we went to the veterinarian who had always helped us, we saw that he had a day off. So we thought we could go tomorrow, because she was behaving normally: active, eating, purring — just breathing very heavily.

We returned home. Less than half an hour later, she began to meow constantly. She had always been very quiet. You could tell she was in the apartment only by the presence of mess in her litter box. And then suddenly she started meowing loudly and frequently, and breathing with her mouth open.

We panicked and within 15 minutes were already at the only working veterinary clinic. She was still meowing, but much weaker

While they were registering her, we stepped aside to the restroom to clean the carrier because she had soiled it. We took her out — and she simply lay down. She didn’t try to run away or get out, even though she hated carriers. She just lay on the floor and meowed into emptiness…

And within a minute, they took her away…

Half an hour later, we were told that she had died. We returned home with an empty carrier…

And now I regret every time I scolded her, every time I chased her out of the room, every time I complained that she scratched something, and that I didn’t seek help sooner.

Her little heart couldn’t take it... Good night my little sunshine Bonya (10y,8m,22d).

Hello! Haven't been here for ages)))

I read "Perseverance" by @pastelaspirationson AO3, and I'm just shocked.

So HERE you can see how many times I tried to figure out how to put them together. At first I thought to draw only two papyrus, but I realized that I CANNOT place them nicely. I looked for tutorials where I could find an answer to my problem, but I didn't find one. It was easier for me to add a third character.

At first it has to be something like flying head. But I couldn't place this in a way that would be nice for me to look at. So i drew this...

And i thought it would be end of my struggling. But no. COLORING

This is my nightmare. I thought about making everything black and white. BUT I wanted to draw something like a poster, so naturally I had to put the title of comic somewhere.

And I did it somehow like this, to be honest, it seemed to me that it looks nice, you just need to cut the canvas somewhere. So i started colouring. I really don't like it, so i just wanted to make everything simply. And during colouring i decided that i need more text there. So replaced everything again😭

But then i remembered that THE ADULT PAPYRUS MUST BE THE MAIN ONE. Aaaand i started to move every one...

This is how I made it.

I know I make a lot of mistakes in my drawings and I'm ashamed that many people my age draw much better. But i cannot do anything with it.

God, I love little papyrus so much!!!

The way @wily-art drew him makes me cry with happiness.
