I know this out context but i don't want to make you uncomfortable by following since im a proshipper!
So my question was are you ok with proshippers following and liking your stuff?? Like jot rven mention darkship/comship/proship stuff just liking and following nothing more, its a genuine question cause i don't want to make you uncomfortable or anyone uncomfortable

Honestly? No I'm not really comfortable with it. But like, you wouldn't be shoving proshipping content down my throat or threatening me so by that standard, I'm fine. But it's more so like.. how do I explain it.

Tho then it begs the question of what kind of proshipper you are cause I know there's levels to it. And I know there's parts of proshipping people throw in with y'all that isn't proshipping. Like mirrorshipping and yumeshipping. Or cnc (with adults).
Honestly, as long as you aren't bothering me, I'm fine with it. I know people can enjoy multiple things at once and I also know sometimes, a proshipper can be in the process of recovering. Which, I hope you, anon, are doing. Because proshipping isn't a good coping mechanism, especially out in the open on a place like the internet. It's a breeding ground for grooming just waiting to happen. By making that kind of content of your traumas public, you're normalizing the dynamic of it and in some cases, romanticizing it. Now I'm not saying you can't TALK about your traumas, absolutely not, please do so! But taking something like Bluey (it always happens to be children orientated fandoms that proshippers go into), for example, and making incestuous relationships or rape content for your own self ENJOYMENT, it crosses a line in the brain that differentiates between GOOD and BAD dynamics. And making that content public, where children can see it, is the start of a cycle that leads that child down a path of potential pain.
Now, I also know that some proshippers make that kind of content but keep it PRIVATE. Honestly that's the safest thing you can do not just for yourself, but for the people around you. It stops harassment to you, it stops potential harm from others, and a whole plethora of other things from occurring.
And sorry, kind of got a little off topic. I take things like this seriously because I know proshippers are human too no matter how much people demonize you guys. I certainly do NOT agree with your coping mechanisms or how y'all conduct yourselves online, but I can tell that some of you are genuinely in need of helo. While others are doing it for the love of the game, and those particular folks need serious help to fix that mindset cause ew?
But yeah, as long as you don't harass me, I'm okay with it. There's a chance I'll probably block you but there's also a chance I won't. Just don't make it weird? Please? ^^'
