For today's #tapemachinetuesday, we’re featuring the Sony PCM 3402; a 1/4" 2 track digital reel-to-reel capable of 44.1kHz to 48kHz sample rate at 16 bits. It was the 2 track companion to Sony's PCM 3348 multi-track machine (the two were usually sold as a pair). We’ll delve more into this little gem next next week.
