I don’t usually post these types of things but guys if you have someone in your lives who you feel is toxic, drop them. I’ve had a person tell me for months how they only care about me, how no one else will put up with me and so on. And for a while I actually believed them, i was scared of letting go because i was scared that I’d end up alone. That all the things my supposed bestfriend said were true. So I hold on to them. Held onto a constant state of hurt and belittlement until I saw that this person doesnt care for me. Or if they did, they cared for me like they would care for a belonging. Something to make them feel good about themselves. Getting energy from sucking away mine. In the end I did let go. And when I did I got an attempt at being guilt tripped. Tried to be made feel guilty. As if I’m abandoning this holy friendship. That was bullshit. It’s just that the moment came when the person saw that now they’d be alone not i. And months after I felt so much better about myself. I started communicating with others, made lots of new friendships, strengthened old ones, my confidence grew because I started seeing people genuinely liking me. Liking me for who I am. So no matter what anyone says, no matter how hard they tries to make you believe you will never be cared for nor apprecited know thats pure bullshit. There are people out there who will see you for who you are and urge you to be the best version of yourself. Those are the people you hold close.
