⸻ one was suppose to be born and instead , esther gave birth to two. born on december 21st as the youngest daughter of esther balcoin, and twin sister of Artemisia. for the balcoins , twins were considered to be an extremely bad omen which caused her mother to declare that she would rid of her ; however she was convinced to keep her .

⸻  Anora grew up very differently from Artemisia , and it was no secret that artemisia was the favored child out of the two. Still, her sister often snuck behind their mother's back and secretly grew close to one another. Unaware of the fact that at times they would often switch places with one another.  

⸻ As a teenager, Anora wrecked havok. Considering she had no one that cared for her other than her sister Anora did whatever she wanted. Having a mother who would turn her back on her daughter , ignore your very existence and even hurt you, she had enough and decided to fight back.

⸻ the moment she turned 15 , she got emancipated. Going on with the wrong crowd she ran off and made quite the impact on many lives. Be it good or bad. Despite her actions, Anora still kept her kindness intact. She only hurt those who hurt her or hurt the ones who deserved it. She helped those like her. The brokens and shunned. While others saw her as a cruel and even as to call her a monster , those she had helped understood and knew her for who she was.

⸻ Upon hearing what her daughter has been up to and even seeing the aftermath of her past confrontations, esther decided to rid of the very thing she saw as a monster. The daughter who reminded her of the man who fathered both Artemisia and Anora. Artemisia being the obedient daughter that she was went with her mother in search of her sister. Unknown to her that their mother was planning on Killing Anora.

⸻ It wasn’t long before esther located her daughter. Trapping her ,  Artemisia talked to her in coming back. Believing that the coven would take her in and their mother changed ways. To which Anora just laughed. Mocking them, she saw into her mother’s eyes and knew. Her intentions with her was to kill her. Artemisia protested against it before esther told Aremisiathat she had to be the one to kill her. Arguments blew out and Anoa took the chance of them arguing to figure out a way to escape from the bind they put her in. Succeeding, esther watched before she took action and tried to kill her before Artemisia got in the way. Angered esther attacked both her daughters. The fight between the three blew over as fire destroyed the room and resulted in anora killing her mother but artemisia getting hurt in the process. Anora catching artemisia as she fell to the floor noticed her bleeding.

⸻ Despite the small resentment for always being favored , They were half of each other. Artemisia made Anora promise to go back to their home , that she needed to finish her unfinished business for her but anora had no idea what that was , never got the chance to know what she meant by it as the flames engulfed the room and she had to get out. 

⸻ It was a week after artemisia and her mother’s death and she wasn’t sure what she had promised. She didn’t wanted to go back simply because the memories she held there weren’t so pleasant other than the ones with her sister and she knew for sure they would kill her as punishment for killing a coven member. Even if they could choose another.

death always seems to follow the De'mors family. and through tragedies and no matter how much many tried to rid of them, one always seems to survive. The De’mors Family is a descendant line of dark practitioners, who’s line can be traced back to one of the origins of dark magic and necromancy . The de'mor were believed to had been eradicated by hunters & streghe whom looked down on them, but one remained hidden. The family is infamous for their terrible acts of evil committed over the years.

⸻ The de’mor family are one of the many families that came and settled in island of kairo a long time ago . since then they have dealt with many funerals and medical examination in town . they are especially around during the war although never took sides as it was not beneficial to them .  Generations and generations prior , the family are known to live where they work . until 500 years ago in which the hill house estate burned down with the family in it. many believing the de'mor were now all gone.  

⸻  after all,  many who know darkness always follow the de’mor family. and through tragedies and no matter how much many tried to rid of them, one always seems to survive. leaving the island , two survivors left in secret and continued the line and their family ways.

⸻   Born on the first day of fall exactly when the clock struck exactly twelve, vanessa took her first breath into the world after her oldest brother vladimir. Being the oldest of seven kids . the house was pretty chaotic to say at least .

⸻   vanessa from a young age was a prodigy in magic . especially the dark aspect of it . she grew up loved and loving her siblings . dotting on them when their parents were too busy along with her older brother .  Despite how stressful and chaotic it sometimes was , vanessa meets every challenge head on. Her siblings and sometimes even her father , often turning to her for anything as during the time she was eight , their mother had left them and town once she found out who her father truly was and the meaning of their family name.

⸻ he would raise vladimir and vanessa as the de'mor family prior did. with vanessa and her brother being the oldest and most talented their father mostly focused on the them he wanted to see the two become strong and bring back the fear of the de'mor name. yet it will never come to pass and he will never see either of his kids grow for when vanessa turned 15 , tragedy struck the de’mor house hold . Her father and 4 of her siblings killed right before her eyes.

⸻   in order to keep her and her siblings out of foster homes , vanessa used magic to keep many away , up until they were of age . vanessa willing to do whatever it takes to keep her siblings out of foster care: by the time she was suppose to graduate she remarked that she’s almost positive she doesn’t want kids of her own since “her siblings are her kids"

⸻   during these past years vanessa had been keeping with her family’s works .  the darker secrets of the family and their works was a legacy aside from their dark magic . 

⸻   forging documents and faking her degrees , vanessa took over her family business and the likes . doing what her father taught her. when cleaning out the attic, vanessa found an old deed of a funeral home & morgue that resided in the island of kairos. she heard whispers of it and just seeing the name , vanessa decided to move and take back what was theirs a month ago. while it was now still a morgue and funeral home with the name change , it was easy to take everything and the land back when you have rights and the deed.

⸻  the montenegros are a small family of hunters that kisa was never suppose to be born into. known for hating all supernatural and wanting to eradicate them, but as fate would have it , renata montenegro found love where it wasn't suppose to be and the price was paid with her lover's life when her father , ramon , killed him .

⸻ when renata found out she was pregnant, she had no other choice but to run away and leave the hunting life behind. for the next 8 months, ramon spent most of his resources looking for his only daughter. unaware of the fact that she was pregnant , until she finally found her .

⸻ for a moment he was unsure of what to feel other than she had to terminate . kill the possible shifter . renata begged and pleaded and screamed at her father. the stress of it all made her water break and without a choice ramon , took her to the hospital. unfortunately , renata would not survive childbirth. leaving the crying baby in the arms and care of her father.

⸻ ramon gave one look at the crying baby and realized he couldn't go through in killing the baby. by the family code , he should have done it. Gotten rid of the small abomination tainting the montenegro bloodline. It only made him realize just how drilled the family code is in their head. the montenegro children raised to be little soldiers. something his daughter always said she did not want.

⸻ at first , ramon didn't know what to do but decisions were made after a month and he decided to move and raise his granddaughter , kisa , as normal as he could . learning about kairos after 5 years , he moved packed their bags and moved. there he paid a strega to spell a necklace in surprising kisa's ability to shift.

⸻ deciding to keep the veil down to the supernatural world , ramon raised kisa as normal as he could. other than taking the girl on their yearly hunting trip and fishing trip , while ramon would care for her , kisa would do the same. looking out for one another. While she knows her mother died giving birth to her , kisa never asks about her father considering she once did and the face her grandfather made scared her as a little girl .

⸻ kisa knew who she was from a very early age. For as long as kisa could remember, everybody loved her. She never knew exactly what it was. She just knew that she had something special. Something intangible. Something immeasurable.
