🦇 ─ Oh~! That was quite beautiful. Mesmerized by the flame as long as it was lit Val watched it burn, she could smell the aftereffects and without hesitation took the hand which had burned a while ago. She hummed in thought as she inspected it. “Shame it is such a powerful quirk and yet there is such a big drawback.” she sighed softly as she guided the other villian to her kitchen area. She did not leave him a choice to stay there but she had a first aid kit there.

When they reached the area she had wanted she found the thing she wanted rather quickly and put some cooling creme on his hand. “I don’t think you need my help to spread it now do you?” she asked amused by his expression. There was a soft chuckle when he proclaimed that he would get it under control. 

“Emotions are dangerous though I do think that you will get it under control just fine. You seem like the type who does not give up that easily. And that fire will submit to you eventually~”

Eyes shut for a moment, feeling the burning on his hand. It only served to remind him of everything he’d been through. He soon felt the soothing cooling cream in his hand and his eyes opened. He slowly spread it around, feeling the burning slowly diminish. He held his hand up, inspecting his fingers. No blisters, just raw red skin.

“You’re right. It will submit to me. No matter how many times I get burned, how many times I blister, I’ll get it. I’ll be able to control it. It’s my quirk. It’s only right that I control it how I want to.” He wipes the remaining creme off on his pants, his burned hand dropping to his side. He held his good hand out, turning it palm up. “I look like a zombie but I choose to. I caused majority of this.”

He scowled. “Some of it wasn’t me. But you probably have no desire to listen to me ramble. So I’ll keep it sweet and short.” He snorted as he said the word sweet. “Someone important did this, and now my goal is to take them out. To kill them.” He scanned his forearm, stretching out his arm. 

“The problem with my fire is that it’ll burn me if I use it too long. I don’t mind. I’ve gotten used to it after years of using this quirk. Let me tell you, one time I got too emotional and burned every part of me. including my lungs, throat, and mouth. But that was from breathing fire.”
