I remember standing in a garden. Alone. There were large palace walls surrounding me and I was simply watering my garden. The sun was right above me yet the breeze kept it cool and nice. I turned around and was greeted by a face too close to mine. “Hello, Lils!” The jesters voice rang out. I stepped to the side, moving so I could stand further away.

“What are you doing here?” I questioned, a distinct tremble in my voice.

“Hmm…” The jester pondered. One finger went up and he tapped his chin, thoughtfully. “I was looking for Nilla, but I can’t find him!”

“He’s out today.” I lied, keeping my expression stoic. “You’re not supposed to be here.” I added quickly.

The jester then stepped forward, a small tilt of his head. “You seem… scared.” He remarked. My eyes widened. “Are you scared of me?” His eyebrow quirked and a damn cocky grin formed on his face.

“No.” I responded, all too quickly. “I don’t fear you.” I stood a little straighter, as if that would disguise the tremble of my hands. To disguise my fear, my white gloves quickly became fists.

“Oho?” The jester started with a smirk on his face. He began to walk forward, lazily making his way towards me. He stopped right in front of me, giving me a once over. Judgement was in his eyes. “I think we both know that’s a lie, Lils. Now…” His voice lowered into a terrifying whisper. “Where’s Nilla? And don’t lie.” Suddenly my fist raised and a loud thud rang through the air. The jester fell as I punched him straight across the face and he looked up at me with a cold, dark, glare. “You-“
