OK, now we know that in AU will be children-souls, but what kind of souls Chara and Frisk have? Both Determination? //sorry, I really love this topic
It should be revealed a little later, but Chara has the soul of Hope, and Frisk's soul is Luck. They both have red souls, tho. I'm just a supporter of the theory that a red soul does NOT mean Determination, plus these traits fit our characters' backstories quite well.

First page: Frisk calmly drinks tea from poisonous flowers because they have immunity, but Chara obviously didn't find out about this right away. XD.
This is Frisk's reference again but now with additional information and comments regarding their history!
(yes, we plan to develop all the characters with fanfic, but due to the language barrier there will still be references here)
Frisk is a 16-year-old homeless orphan who meets Chara and Asriel.
They have lived half their lives alone, but their parents' past is still a secret.
Frisk has learned to play the guitar since childhood, as well as woodcarving (making wooden toys and figurines), both of which help them earn money for food.
Frisk is the one who suggests that they, Chara, and Asriel form a ensemble based on Chara's stories of the six human souls and their own musical abilities.
What else can we say? We're planning a little love story at the end, so Frisk can be called Chara's sudden love interest. They're still kids, and we still treat these two as naive teenagers capable of teenage romance. — ShunZenn

Hello, dears!
It's been a while since we decided to come back to this blog, and a few things have happened in that time, and we're happy to share them with you.
We've already mentioned it, but despite the initial comic format, the main plot of Underlark will be presented as a fanfic (written story). The writing part of the project is being done by ShunZenn, while Tinss is responsible for the covers and a lot of the illustrations that will be published here in parallel with the story updates.
The news is that we are not native English speakers, and the original story is presented in Russian and Ukrainian, and maybe in the future it will also be in Latvian (Shun is Ukrainian, and Tinss is Latvian, which makes it possible for us to translate the story, but we don't have sufficient knowledge of English).
For this, we will probably need to find a translator among those willing, but for now I want to congratulate all of us on the release of the first chapter, the link to which I will leave in the next post!

Actually, Tinss and I are in a kind of crisis right now, and I'm getting out of it through writing. My native language is not English, but maybe one day this work will appear on AO3.

Clover was a happy child until they turned 14. They had a loving family, but one night robbers broke into their house. Clover was the only one who survived because they was protected and told to run without looking back. Since then they was alone. For several years Clover wandered the streets not knowing what to do with themselves, people they knew helped as much as they could, but no one could provide a safe and loving home.
That is until they met Sophie.

I've been wanting to draw this trend for a long time and now that we have an official Frisk reference, I can do it :))
Since childhood, Sophie studied ballet, being a child of a blue-blooded family that valued aesthetics. Having failed the selection for a truly important performance, her reputation was shattered. The elders openly showed their disappointment, outlining the girl as a disgrace to the family. Unable to bear such an attitude, Sophie went against her own principles and ran away from home, walking to the nearest, but long-forgotten town in the foothills, meeting Clover there.

ShunZenn: surprisingly, Tinss and I we called each other on discord for the first time in half a year, and were able to finish Frisk's reference, I'm incredibly happy. As Tinss said, I just pushed her to work AGAIN X).

Okay, we've started slowly working on the designs of the children of the six fallen souls, because they will play a role in the plot of the Underlark comic, which we are planning!!
The script for the comic is also being written and we may start drawing soon :)
