Some of the stories are cool when they’re from like 50 years ago, at least in the sense that it makes me so much happier to be alive now than back then. Imagine living in a small town before the internet? No thank you.

I’m honestly delighted I never went into scouts. It never really seemed to be my thing. But hey, at least you got real life skillsets out of it that can actually help you.

Yeah, the skill set is nice but I fucking hated it. It definitely wasn’t my thing but my parents thought it would help out with my attitude problem but joke’s on them.

Sounds like reliving my college years, I’d prefer not to do that. We see how far that got me in life to begin with. Also no thank you, I did the waitress thing before I got switched to bartender. And I feel like you have to be act more cheerful to work at the diner than at Lunar Fox.

Boring, boring. You’d think, but I haven’t been fired yet so who knows, maybe the boss likes that I’m not such a chipper Mary-Sue. It’s refreshing to some people.

Well a beach would be more ideal but I thought getting a group to go camping would be kinda fun. Plus, I’m a sucker for a good campfire s’more. Sweet, I’ll count you in on the trip once I get through this weekend I’ll be able to get a better idea of people. 

I could definitely go for some s’mores- I can put those away like no one’s business. Sweet, just let me know and I’ll be there.

Spend enough years with you and it’ll rub off on anyone. Hell, I bet you could even have Ana threatening to pour coffee down someone’s pants in a matter of minutes. 

Fair, but that would be the only perk. Getting paid to essentially be hot? That would be a dream, but I quite enjoy the salary I get already.

That is the great part about being around me for so long, isn’t it? I can get anyone to do anything with enough charm, my love.

Damn dude, sounds like you could use a vacation. At least from all the ignorant people and people that think you pissed in their coffee?? … I’ve been thinking as the weather warms up we should get a bunch of people together to go camping for a weekend. How fun would that be?

I absolutely could use a vacation immediately. But, ew, camping? ...eh, I guess if you’re paying I’ll go anywhere to get away for the weekend. Sure, I’m down for camping.

Some people just don’t know how to treat customer service workers, huh? Like bro, they’re serving you, the least you can do is be nice so they don’t spit in your food.

Unfortunately people think that isn’t a real thing that happens. Not my problem when it does happen, though. I personally don’t spit in people’s food, but I’ve been witness to it - not at this diner, though - and I didn’t feel sorry for them at all.

See, I knew you were out to get me. Thanks for confirming my suspicions. Yeah, okay, I guess I could get that. Kinda same reason I ended up working the diner. Not that I mind it, really. Sometimes I wish people would get that I don’t need their entire life story, especially since most of us grew up here? Seems kind of stupid to tell someone else that grew up here what life was like growing up. Cool, and I’ll make sure not to piss you off so I don’t end up with anything going into my coffee.
