I went to a park nearby to sketch people doing workouts. I walked across the field full of flowers, swallows were flying very low above the ground. At some point I realized that a horse is running full speed towards me. That was very scary! She ran by a meter away from me followed by a small dog. The horse probably escaped from a hippodrome: I saw three people in helmets chasing her afterwards.

Seen yesterday

Today I went to buy some coffee in a local store called "Haruya coffee", where you can get freshly roasted beans. For me it's just the best coffee store in the universe with the most friendliest owner. I also brought my canvas bag with me and got the beans directly into it. I try to produce less waste and feel so much happier when I buy things without packaging ^^

I started a new personal challenge - I’m trying to draw every day something that I saw in real life. This one I saw 3 days ago while walking by the river. Two kids were decorating father's hair with fallen sakura flowers. It's hanami season now here in Japan, and I love to watch people on picnics under the cherry blossom trees. Every rhino is precious <3

I made these wooden brooches using laser cut (from mdf, magnolia and japanese lime wood). Here are mostly rhinos, because I love them so much. Also I was very lucky to meet Northern White Rhinos, of whom only three are left on Earth now. Their names are: Fatu, Najin and Sudan.

Beautiful baby Ringo passed away this week. My heart still hurts, but I feel so lucky that I had a chance to meet this amazing joyful creature <3
