once    upon    a    time,    he    would’ve    been    surprised    to    see    a    burst    of    blond    hair    in    front    of    him,    legs    tangled    up    with    each    other    and    the    sheets    wrapped    around    both    of    their    bodies    but    now    it’s    almost    as    if    he    expects    to    wake    up    with    him    so    close.    first    it    started    with    dark    nightmares,    bodies    riddled    with    terror    that    didn’t    seem    to    happen    often    but    now,    he    couldn’t    remember    the    longest    they’ve    gone    without    the    distraught    faces    staring    at    each    other.    with    a    soft    grumble,    blaise    slowly    rolls    his    body    over    so    that    tired    eyes    can    come    into    contact    with    him,    his    friend.        ❝    well,    i    were.    ❞    he    sleepily    says,    his    voice    low,    husky    and    full    with    exhaustion.    he’s    not    been    sleeping    too    well    himself.    hands    run    over    his    face    slowly    before    shoving    the    covers    to    one    side,    in    an    attempt    to    hold    out    an    invitation    for    him    to    get    in.        ❝    are    you    going    to    stand    there    all    night    or    get    in?    ❞
