bellablacklestrangeâ:
Bellatrix Lestrange had a reputation as a cruel and bloodthirsty warrior, which was true, but what many people did not think was that she had a great passion for literature. She read books quicker than anyone in her family ever had and - to this day - still enjoyed spending entire nights poring through tomes without rest.
And thus here she was at Flourish and Blotts, once again browsing through the numerous shelves that were stacked to the ceiling. She was in no rush today and had enough money to purchase any book she wanted, so she was going to choose carefully. She walked down aisles and read the summaries of books before either putting it in a basket she held or sliding it back onto the shelf. It was a calm, domestic image which wasnât often seen from her.
She turned around and was prepared to go to another aisle with a half-full basket swinging on her arm when she suddenly flew backwards, someone had bumped into her. When she got up she had her wand drawn and her eyes narrowed, if looks could kill then whoever saw her then would definitely be dead.
Andie was quite sure fate or some vengeful god had their wrath fixed on her particularly. After going for so long without seeing her sister to be suddenly thrown into her path every time she turned around . . . It was maddening. Luckily Dora wasnât with her today, so she didnât have to worry about that. Still, it would have been so nice to just be able to pop in and pick up her book and leave without worrying about her sister. Though she nearly ducked right back out the door when she spotted Bellatrix, Andie decided against that in the end. She shouldnât have to live in terror.Â
Her plan was to simply avoid Bella to the best of her ability, although the store wasnât really that big so it wasnât an easy feat. She nearly managed it though, until she turned without paying attention and did the exact opposite of what she intended. It triggered a million childhood memories of doing the same thing, running into Bellatrix and without really meaning to, Andie let out an annoyed sigh and rolled her eyes.Â
âIâm ever so sorry,â she said, in a tone that she would have scolded Dora for using. âIâm sure the shopkeeper would prefer if you did not hex paying customers for clumsiness, however.â
