I often think about my wisdom teeth removal day and the aftermath.... I don't remember what drug or if it was laughing gas, but the shit they gave me right before I went under anesthesia, made me feel like the nurse talking to me was my best friend ever and I had eternal love for her..... it was SO ODD. And then I passed out but it wasn't like sleeping or dreaming, just absolutely nothing for hours. I wonder if death is like that... and then I woke up like I had just blinked but time passed, and got wheelchaired out back to my mom lol. I got permanent nerve damage on my lips and chin from that day and I honestly try to forget about and rarely talk about it or it drives me crazy. I think I have done some kind of mental filtering where I don't feel it and forget I have it it most days, even though it feels weird whenever I touch it too hard and it flares up whenever I eat spicy food or am under immense stress
They also prescribed me oxycodone for the wisdom teeth recovery which is insane, and I loved the feeling it gave me, but I was very good about only taking it for the pain. It sat in my drawers for months until I threw them out one day. My friend said I should have sold them, but I didn't want to be responsible for creating/contributing to an addiction for someone. I think under different circumstances shit could have gotten bad with those for me. Anyway, my life has always been really weird
